Setsail ???? I was just looking for some reassurance. Cruise Critic is a great place for that. The negative reviews were not on here. I realize I will have to make up my own mind.

I know they all have negative reviews. I see them every time we go on any vacation. This just happens to be the one we are going on next! Just wanted to ease my mind.

Thanks everyone. I just needed assurance that the Harmony & RCI would be as amazing as I thought it would be. Sometimes your mind gets clouded when you read such negative things.

Thanks beachnative. I did sign up for the Roll Call. Hoping to catch a deal on the drink package. Right now it is way too expensive & totally not worth it.

beachnative, I posted on both sites at the same time. I had no idea the amount of responses I would get. Sparks1093, I never said I was loyal to NCL or CCL. I was asking about RCI. I have never cruised with them & was just asking opinions. Isn't that what this site is for?

Thanks everyone. I have read the reviews on CC & I believe those much more than on random sites. Not stressing about it, just getting opinions. We booked Harmony because of the great reviews. Complaints were more about RC in general & the staff on the ships. We are very easy to please. The only things we can't stand are dirtiness & rudeness. And the chair hogs......That's a whole topic in itself! Lol!

Thanks. That makes me feel better. We have cruised before, just not with RC. In fact we just got off Carnival's Horizon a couple weeks ago. I know some people just like to complain & I do take things with a grain of salt, but just seeing so many bad ones really had me thinking!

We are staying in Edgewater, NJ the night before our cruise leaves. Planning on taking the GW Bridge. We were thinking of leaving around 9am for our 11:30 check in time. We are parking at the pier, so if we are very early (wishful thinking!) we will just walk around. I heard that parking fills up quickly at the pier, so we don't want to leave too late. Would traffic be cleared up by 9 or would earlier be better? We don't want to get stuck in crazy rush hour traffic. Thanks!

Hubby booked a surprise cruise for my birthday. A Havana Aft Extended balcony! I did some checking around, at the last minute & scored a Havana wrap around balcony for the same price! It always pays to check!

Yes, I did just that. This is the first time I booked through a TA. We saved a couple hundred dollars, but I'm not sure if it was worth it. I like being in control of my bookings!

I don't have the option to edit my cruise details. Maybe because I booked through a TA?

Actually the documents from the TA show the pre-paid gratuities & drink package. The docs from Carnival don't show the Cheers package. I will have to do some investigating.

Hi everyone. My hubby & I are booked on the Horizon for June 21st out of NYC. We purchased the cruise & Cheers drink package with our TA. Cheers isn't showing up in my on line Carnival statement, but when I tried to do a mock purchase, it said it was already purchased. Should I be concerned that it's not showing up? Shows up on the invoice from TA & on our credit card statement. Thanks!

Sailing next Sunday, March 20. Our first time on Norwegian. Just have a couple questions. Where would be the best location to rent a clamshell on Great Stirrup Cay? Is one area better than another? Is it possible to drop off carry on bags in room before you are allowed to get in? Thanks so much! Very excited for our adventure!!
