But why would you want to fly into Venice, with all of the travel restrictions in place??  And Roger88, you may not be able to "sail wherever you want" from Venice... at this point, with the number of cases identified there, I would hope you cannot.  You may be able to get to Vennice, but travel restrictions are being updated daily, and you may be quarantined there, or held in quarantine when you try to get back to US.  

We were just on Seaside Feb 2-9 and did the 4-device, 6GB package.  It was just about right for us usage-wise; both of us worked on laptops a little here and there, and used cell phones for email all week.  Very disappointed that wifi calling would not work though; no voice, only data.  On RCCL, for past couple of cruises, the wifi package facilitated wifi calling so we could actually make phone calls on same package.  

Your posts are a hoot; thoroughly enjoyed reading about your adventures! we were on this cruise also... I'm the crazy lady that came up to you at the Schooner Bar saying I recognized the two of you from your posts (well, maybe you had several people doing this?) Looks like you two had a blast... so did we! :) Now, back to reality..............

I am cruising on Grandeur on September 5th and just "redeemed" 10,000 points from my RCCL Visa for a $100 OBC about 2-3 weeks ago. If there has been a change, I must have just squeaked in under the wire, because when I called to do the transaction, there was no mention of a minimum, and in fact, they FINALLY got into the current century by making this transaction electronically. Last year, I had to call and request a paper certificate to be mailed to me, then had to mail that to RCCL "allowing 2 to 3 weeks for processing" for the credit to be applied to my account. This year, happily surprised that they did it all over the phone. But all things considered, I agree w/ previous posters... I'm transitioning over to my AmEx and Discover where I have so much more flexibility to use the points on whatever I want, including statement credits!!
