Thank you for sharing your review. We usually cruise in balconies but I've been interested in trying a Habana Cabana for awhile. However, the see through railings with the sunbeds next to them have me holding back. My husband is super chatty and I feel like if he is that close to people on our patio, he will talk them to death.  In your photo, i don't see that. It looks like your divider has slats and is not see through. Is it like that on both sides? Is this common? 

My family went on a Christmas cruise last year. On Christmas day, we wore Grinch onesies the majority of the day. And yes in the dining room for sea day brunch. There were so many costumes and people dressed for Christmas all day. On Christmas eve as well. The vibe is very different over the holiday. Maybe some onsies or Christmas themed shirts etc. We did exchange gifts in the cabins but I really loved seeing so many people enjoy the holiday.

As far as your son, if it happened once, i can see. But twice suggests some type of issue. Was his name on his boarding pass EXACTLY the same as what TSA has for him? No missing commas or letters or anything? We have had precheck for a long time and when i use my frequent flyer logins that match my previous name( i have ID to match) i don't get precheck. My precheck is in my married name(also have id to match). So even though the date of birth and other info is still me....it doesn't give it to me. Also, since they use a funky letter/number combo,ie..1T8UKl... make sure the info typed in actually matched. 

I just got off the Glory on Nov 11th. Staff explained that they are premade to reduce wait time. There was always still a line when we passed. you can see the sandwiches on the shelf behind the staff. they had pretty much every sandwich made. There was no line so we just stood there talking to him and he explained the process. They will take the sandwich and add the condiments /press it if its hot. I guess they premake them to keep you from waiting while they slice the meat like they used to.

We just returned from a cruise on the Glory on the 11th of November. The machines were 3.00 each and took both quarters and the sign and sail card.

Thanks for your responses. I generally just play slots, so i'm sure it wont be too difficult to get on one of those every now and then. It was mainly my husband who plays blackjack that I was concerned about. With 4 ports back to back, he might only make it in the casino 2 or 3 times anyway, so I could be worrying for nothing.

We have a cruise booked on the Carnival Glory for Nov 4,2017. I noticed on these boards that recently there were offers sent from the casino to players that this would be an ULTRA cruise for them. My husband likes to spend some time playing blackjack in the evenings. How does this affect the casino for other cruisers that are not participating in the ULTRA cruise?? :confused:

i saw that too earlier....totally freaked me out...I was in line in a grocery store and it showed in the list when you scroll to see the threads. I was using tapatalk. I don't see anything on my computer...thank goodness.
