Hi Liverpool Lass,I am traveling to the western carribean.38 days to sailing time yepeeeee.

I do to !!!! And in fact im leaving in 39 days for my 5th cruise.My girl really enjoys cruisin too.We're not from the UK --- We're from New Jersey.

What cruise line are you sailing on?? I will be sailing on the Royal Caribbean "Freedom of the Seas".

Has anyone ever done the western caribbean before?? We want to go on some of the excursions but not sure to which ones,- maybe go swim with the dolphins,parasailing,etc.Any suggestions??

I had heard that Carnival is just as good but when it comes down to $$ carnival is cheaper.

Well i just booked another cruise with my sweetie.This will be my 4th and her 2nd.I don't know who is more excited!! LOL.We're going on Royal Caribbean again but this time to the western caribbean.August can't come sooner!! I checked out other cruise lines ( all of them infact) it just seemed that Royal Caribbean has the best to offer and i've sailed with them all the other times and they really know how to pamper you so much!! They make you feel like royalty.

I have sailed Royal Carribean 4 times and would love to go on the Olivia but for the price - i dunno.I took my sweetie for her first cruise early this year and now she is soooooo hooked.We would love to go on another soon.Just not sure where this time.We went to the Eastern Carribean and ive already been to the Western too.We would love also to do Rosie's cruise.

Does anyone know if there is a time when the rates are lower?

HI All,Both myself and my girl are so ready for another cruise,we're trying to figure where,when and all that good stuff.Is anyone here from the New Jersey area?? I had heard that there are some cruises that leave from the NJ area as well as the New York area.( Did that one and never again(NY) ). I hoping to find which cruise from the NJ area so it will be closer for us to leave here but if we have to fly again .... ok.

;) Unfortunatly im already settled in and back to the grind.I wish i was back in the Islands where it was so very beautiful and nice and sunny and 90 degrees and having the times of our lives!! We are already thinking of doing another cruise soon - maybe we will join you all next summer. I am also looking into the Olivia cruise.Has anyone done that?

If anyone has never done a cruise -- you should do at least one but then you are hooked.

The Islands are so beautiful and there is so much to see and do.We did alot of sight seeing and shopping but we also made sure to have fun on the ship as well, especially sun bathing lol I did get a little sun burned but its all worth it LOL:D .

Thank you Shan9700 and Etoile for info.... it did help me alot.I found out some things i was'nt sure ex. i usually keep my film in a lead bag and found out that it's ok but i will tell them about it so it does'nt look like im trying to sneak anything on.Now that its only 1 week away i'm so anxious to go now and last night my girlfriend and i were watching the Travel station and they were talking about cruises and she was sooooo hooked and now more than ever she wants to leave now to go LOL.:D When i come back i will tell you how everything was - that's if i decide to come home LOL.:rolleyes:

;) Hi All,I too am very glad that i found this thread... i enjoy hearing about all the cruises everyone has gone on. Well i have 17 more days till i cruise into the sunset.LOL We are getting so excited and can't wait to feel the warmth and to see the beautiful waters.This will be very interesting to see tho.... I've been on cruises before but my girl has'nt.This is her first on any type of boat or ship.I even picked up the dramamine for her just in case.I know that we will have a blast!!:D

This will be my 3rd cruise and 3rd time on Royal Caribbean but its my girlfriend 1st time and she is excited and a little nervous at the same time but we can't wait!!One thing i found out about being on the Royal Caribbean ships.... join their Crown & Anchor club.You can get upgrades and discounts on all things going on on the ship as well as off the ship.:rolleyes: I can't wait to work on my tan and feel the sun and drink those festive drinks they have when you first walk on board!! 24 DAYS!!!!!!!!!:D
