When we sailed a couple weeks ago we arrived at 10:45 and were in our room by 11:15.

I just got off the Carnival Pride yesterday (Sunday) and went to the party on Saturday. I am Platinum, btw. There were probably 80% less people than previous parties. The party started at 5:15 til 6pm and was in the Butterflies Lounge. The food was definitely better than in the past. They had sushi, some little rolls with shredded pork, little shrimp quiches, and mini crab cakes.
That was our experience on the Conquest last week too. I counted about 30 people and the food was definitely better than previous experiences.

My wife and I just got off the Conquest on Saturday and both commented during embarkation that the ramp was steeper than any we could remember.

I just realized that I never came back to post about my Blue Hole experience. This was, by far, the best excursion we have ever done. We used Marvyn's paradise tours. Our guide was Warren and he was amazing. We locked everything in his car, including our dslr camera and cash and he was 100% trustworthy. Blue Hole was so beautiful and unlike anything else we have ever done. After Blue Hole Warren took us to Bamboo Beach for a while and we were able to relax and get some sun. Marvyn was there with his tour and checked in with us to make sure we were enjoying our day. After Bamboo Beach Warren offered to take us to Scotchies for lunch, but the kids were getting tired so he took us to a safe and secure store for souvenir shopping. He then brought us back, safe and sound, to the port. Marvyn called Warren and asked to speak to us to make sure we were happy with our excursion. If we ever return to Jamaica, I will be calling Marvyn.
Thanks so much for this review. My wife and I are booked with Marvyn on May 20th (our 20th Anniversary) and we are really looking forward to it.

Tampa better pay attention to prevailing trends in the industry. They may spend a boatload of money for nothing.
I'm sincerely interested, because I don't follow the industry, what prevailing trends are your referring to?
Have you ever seen a celebrity on a Carnival cruise ship???

I'm a huge Cowboys fan as well and ended up on a cruise with Emmitt Smith years ago. He too was very gracious with the people who approached him, though I left him alone as he was with his family. My wife did get some pictures of him climbing Dunns River Falls in Jamaica.
