If you like snorkeling, take a look at Paradise Cove. They offer snorkeling from the beach at Deadman's Reef; it was some of the best snorkeling I've done. They will pick you up at the port and drive you back after your visit.
AGREE! Have done it many times!

my husband and I and my sister and best friend did this a few years back and were pleasantly surprised, we took the jitney and then walked to the zoo, we had a nice time... and yes, the flamingoes and bird-feeding was entertaining, on our way in there were some people who were leaving telling us it was no big deal, blah-blah. I NEVER listen to other people who are nay-saying, like to experience it myself and glad we did!

our father, WHO IS 80, A VERY HEALTHY ACTIVE 80, LUCKILY FOR US, told us last night he wants to rent a scooter for our cruise in May!!!

First of all, Featfan22 thanks for asking this since we are both on the same roll call on CC, that was very nice.
Scuba Girl, you are such a wonderful help to everyone, I checked both websites, but, unfortunately, the day we are in Nassau (May 29th) neither place offers sunset cruises (I've checked other places as well). We have never been able to do a sunset tour in all the times we have been to the Bahamas, and had thought that it would be a good thing to investigate.
Thanks again to both of you.

Hi there, the Grandeur of the Seas is to arrive in Bermuda on Saturday May 26th, is this a good thing for us or not?
thanks Nina from Baltimore

many years ago we took their tour and it was very good, then in '15 we took it again and it was not good at all, our tour organizer actually asked for some of the group's money back and received it - they didn't have enough vehicles, we didn't go where we thought we were going, never again, it's a shame...

Aruba Aloe
in Aruba
back in 2013 when we were in Aruba, I was going everywhere to find this Aloe, I searched everywhere went into stores, no one had it (honest), as we walked into the terminal to return to the ship, I happened to ask inside the terminal (I know, should have done that first) and lo and behold that sucker had been inside the terminal the entire time, there was an actual Aruba Aloe store INSIDE the terminal :D, plan to take it back to Aruba when we visit in less than two weeks WA-HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

place we love there in Freeport, it's a great place to go to...
wish our November cruise was going there instead of NASSAU!!!!!!!!!!
we are going on the Grandeur for the first time and this trip is more about being a new ship rather than the itinerary..

welcome to cruising, we have been to Paradise Cove several times and LOVE LOVE it.. surprised more people don't go there - contact Barry or his crew at Paradise Cove and sure he/they will accommodate you, it's a great place...

but think it's because we have been there so many times, but I do try to find something different to do every single time, as of late - we are going back there during Thanksgivingtime this year and plan to go to the zoo and possibly GrayCliff and the rum distillery, something we have never done yet.
We try to get away from the port as quickly as possible.
I do LOVE the turquoise water in the Bahamas, it's so beautiful as the ship turns the corner and you can see Atlantis on the horizon, nice shot...

Barry will make sure you are back, in plenty enough time
you will LOVE it

We have been to Nassau app. 7-8 times now and have NEVER been able to make it to Blue Lagoon, we get in at 1:30 this November, still think that is too late, would cc'ers agree with that?
thanks

I LOVE the soaps that are in the terminal, only made in the Bahamas, get them everytime we go there.. understand your feelings, but works for me
I try to get spices at every port I go to as well, that are local. We don't do souvenirs any longer for others....
have a great cruise

first of all, wow, people are being helpful
we never do tours through the cruise lines any longer, I go to the forums of CC, which are extremely helpful to me. I usually pick the tours that have the most favorable comments.
Last year in Aruba, we did the trike tour (excellent!) and then met my sister at the beach afterwards. Next year when we go back, we plan to just do a day at the beach... trying to keep the funds a little less for excursions due to it being a 14 night cruise
have fun no matter what you do!

we've won first place, we've watched, however, think someone mentioned about a teenage daughter, know the ones we go to kids are not allowed at all
will never forget when my very quiet husband partook in a quest asking for a dentures/plate, etc., he took his front four teeth plate right out and put them on a napkin, he's also taken off his pants as well, but never naked
I LOVE to go. However, I have been with friends who have not laughed one time throughout the whole thing, BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
talk soon

we just love Bermuda, but it doesn't sound like a lot of things are open on Sundays, correct?
