When booking i asked their employee why they said always included when it is not. She said that some customers did not want a drnk package included. OK. That is fine but quit saying “always”!

I am booked for a cruise out of Venice next June. I just spent a full hour holding for Celebrity customer service - listening to the same annoying advertisements over and over. I finally gave up. Then I tried calling the number for Captain’s Club.  I gave that up after 15 minutes. I understand that many companies are having problems due to employee shortages but I am not going to take off on a European cruise with a company I cannot reach by phone. I will be cancelling my cruise. It makes me sad because Celebrity has been my favorite cruise line. 

Definitely false advertising. I am going to file a complaint through out state attorney general’s office 

Agree! I hated the Breakaway. No place to escape noise. We would be having a conversation in a bar off the atrium and they would start some stupid game in the atrium with extremely loud volume. Never again on that ship. Will stick to Celebrity when possible.

Take earplugs. We found that there was no way to escape over loud noise in all of the common areas. There were annoying super loud games and contests conducted in the atrium every day making all the adjoining bars miserable loud. I had booked 4 cabins for the whole family including grandkids. We found it very difficult to find a space where we could gather together and have a conversation. The young adults I’d enjoy the zip line and other outdoor activities but we all agreed that we would never sail that ship again. It is clearer seeking a younger rowdier crowd. When we complained about noise to crew, they said they themselves complained to management all the time to no avail.

I loved Blu. Food was great and our wine steward was terrific! I loved having the smaller dining venue. Will always book Aqua on Celebrity.

Crazy to prohibit nice sandals. My only other choice on a cruise would be athletic shoes, especially a Caribbean cruise.

Thanks for info. It will be interesting to see what impact the Cup has. Two ships in port already make for a busy town. Loved Harbor Nights on my previous visit.

I worry about the water taxis being full. Since I have been there before I had hoped to be able to use the water transit instead of booking excursions but am afraid we will not be able to get in to town for Harbor Nights celebration without reserved excursion.

I sailed Celebrity Summit to Bermuda and loved the ship. It was my favorite cruise ever. In June I am sailing the NCL Breakaway to Bermuda with my kids and grandkids. Chose the Breakaway because it has good ratings for cruising with kids. I just hope it is half as good as Summit was. I was on Summit again last fall for eastern Caribbean on chartered Blues Cruise. Really pleased with the ship. But sure we will all have fun whatever the ship is!

Yikes! I booked the whole family (4 cabins) on the Breakaway In June and was not aware if this event. Hope it doesn't make it too difficult to get around.

I have did the Summit to Bermuda in 2015 and it was the best cruise experience ever. Loved the ship and the crew. I had a less pleasant experience on Norwegian to Quebec but it was an older ship (and really showed its age in unpleasant ways). However, we have booked Breakaway for Bermuda cruise this year in June. We are taking the whole family- kids and grandkids. I thought the Breakaway was a much better option for cruising with children hope we will not be disappointed.

I will be flying into Newark the day before a May 31 cruise from Cape Liberty. I book Best Western Plus - Airport West. Chose this because they said the had both airport and cruise terminal transportation. I do not see this on the recommended list. Is this hotel not the best choice? We will want to go into NYC the afternoon/evening before departure. Would staying in the city and getting transportation to cruise terminal be an option. There are 2 in our party. I don't want to have to handle my baggage on and off trains, so will need a shuttle or taxi.
