Apparently Amber Cove is operational. We are going there on the Queen Mary 2 on January 22 at the beginning of the World Cruise.

Seth Gopin's lectures are fabulous. Every time I have heard him speak he has caused me to have an epiphany about the world of art. I can't imagine what a great professor he must have been.

Two years ago we were "upgraded" to a room across from the laundry. This was a huge problem.
People had fights in laundry room bad enough that we had to call security.
The laundry room is small and stuffy. Even though the sign on the door requests that it be kept closed. People gathered outside our door talking all day long. If we asked them to go into the laundry room, many would get belligerent. Again we had to call security to get them to be quiet.
STAY AWAY FROM THE LAUNDRY AT ALL COSTS!!!!

I believe that the ship without the movie theatre was the Constellation. The movie theatre space had been converted to a meeting space. No movies were shown in a theatre space.
When we were on the Reflection last, there was a movie theatre. We are aware we could look in the program. We are trying to determine before our arrival if there are movies or not.

Last year we sailed on one of the smaller Celebrity ships and we were surprised to find that the movie theatre had been removed and was now a meeting room. There were no movies shown in the evening.
We are re positioning this fall on the Eclipse and we are wondering if there are evening movies in a movie theatre on this ship. Does anyone have recent knowledge?

I am looking at trans Atlantic on the Zuiderdam in March, 2015. The only option is open dining. Has HAL done away with Fixed Seating? I can't imagine that this cruise is even close to being sold out. Does anyone have any ideas?

We are looking at the Zuiderdam passage to Italy in March, 2015. The ship disappears for two weeks immediately following that. Does anyone know if it is going in for drydock? Or is it a charter?

If AYWD dining is so popular, then why are guests having problems booking traditional dining even on cruises a year out. It has happened to me and I've read countless other simliliar complaints.
Does anyone have an answer?
Check from HAL for 2016 Prinsendam Cruise $21.33
in Holland America Line
Posted
Out of the clear blue sky, my wife and I each received a check from HAL in the amount of $21.23 with the reference number P654 TF&P694. The check also reference a trans Atlantic that we took on the Prinsdendam 11/03/2016 and includes our Reservation Number.
We have absolutely no idea what this check is for. We had no open claim with HAL.
Does anyone have any ideas?
