The steak cookout by the pool on the Enchanted Isle as we were leaving Grand Cayman. This was a nice touch because we left in the late afternoon and I had just been swimming with the stingrays. The steaks were pretty good and I could sit on the deck in my swimsuit and T-shirt and have a steak dinner without having to rush back to clean up for the dining room. It made for a more relaxed evening. This was apparently that first time that the line had tried this, and I gave high praise to this idea on my post cruise comment form. This was only a 700 passenger ship so it would be hard to do on a newer mega ship.

Anyone cruise on the MArch 1999 and 2000 (I think?) Enchanted Isle when the celtic bands were playing? It was a great time! I miss that ship!
Yes, I was on in March 2000, and I remember those bands. They played some good music. The only name I can remember was one called Six Mile Bridge. It was a fun cruise, and the weather was perfect. The ship was not as fancy as the others I've been on, but it was a good value for the price we paid. Getting to see the parades in New Orleans for Carnival before the cruise was fun too. I'm glad I got to see New Orleans before Katrina. Overall, that was a good trip. I was sorry to read that the ship was scrapped.

The Seattle's Best Coffee shop on Monarch of the Seas had complimentary pastries. It's another option foe a shipboard snack that wasn't listed on the Compass.
Attach the pre-cruise luggage tag to one of your bags even if your aren't checking anything. The color of the tag lets the staff know you are a repeat cruiser. When I boarded with my group they sent all of us to the priority check-in line even though some of us were not previous guests because part of our group had the gold member luggage tags. It saved a lot of time waiting in line.
If your itinerary includes a stop at Coco Cay and you are traveling with someone that needs a wheelchair, they have special wheelchairs with wide tires for pushing through sand available on the island.
