West Quay Cars
We are staying at the Hilton Bankside and will be looking for transportation to Southampton on May 3rd. Looks like West Quay Cars is a great option; a couple of questions:
Any reviews / comments on this plan?
Should I reserve a car in advance?
Any input is greatly appreciated!

Thanks all appreciate the advice!
ATM for currency. Credit cards for purchases. Both give the best exchange rates. Capital one does not charge fees.

Google is wonderful. .. Shows that it is NOT arranged as you would like. The bed is close to the balcony.
The pictures are all the same for all deck 8 balcony cabins.

Does Virgin fit your lifestyle? My wife and I like to lay out at the pool on sea days. Have you seen that pool? Its the size of a postage stamp. We're also not into sex parties, "adult" entertainment and the like. The food does look good, but I can't get past the other issues.
VV is NOT a big orgy filled with sex parties. It is all adults and the attitude is different than conventional lines. It's not for everyone; it is DIFFERENT. I think it is a GREAT product and will sail with them again.

What specialty restaurants would you recommend? We've been on Silhouette before and I think we did Murano and Tuscan. We are not Retreat or Aqua, so we'll be doing main dining and a couple of specialty. Any dining reviews would be appreciated.

What type of test is performed? I heard that it is NOT the very invasive one that sticks a q-tip up your nose and touches your brain. Can somebody share details?

Any experience with bidding up from a Ltd View sea view to unobstructed, Central or XL?

Ok thanks for the info. DW would probably frown upon participation.

I understand that there are observers of the show and participants. Does the entertainer respect the observers or do they go deep in the crowd to encourage participation?

I Remember:
Skeet Shooting off the back of the ship
Shooting golf balls off the back of the ship
Paying CASH for drinks
Lighting Baked Alaska on Fire in the main dining room during the farewell dinner
Bringing Cases of Beer on board and funneling in the pool
Cruising (like Air Travel) was special and not for the mass market
The "good 'ole days"
