Have you ever thought of being a travel agent? All those trips sound great!

oops.. sumopaint is in place of photoshop if you need to edit your Fun Times. I should have explained.

Try this site:
www.sumopaint.com It's very similar to Photoshop. You can open pictures in it and change them. You can also add special effects. The kids and adults at my daughter's school use it. It's free. You can buy the full version if you want.

Ok, we're waiting on your next adventure! (or anything else you want to write about) :)
I've been telling my husband about this thead. We just celebrated our anniversary and our cruise is coming up. I hope he took the hint.

Mike, I really hope you get your own forum, as suggested. I bet you we would all help you keep it going. You have a way of writing that is so lovely.

We do the private taxi tours, too. We're like you and get the taxis at the port, too. We've also bargained with them to get a good price. I really love the waterfall pictures.

Love that red whale tail stack! The other ship looks so plain. ;)

The rocks sticking out in the Ft. Lauderdale beach picture is called the Jetty. We used to go there when I was a child.
The Key West pictures are great. We have banyan trees in my area. I'm like the other poster in that I haven't been to Key West in years. It sort of looks respectable now. (I'm kidding, but it used to have a "reputation")
Wonderful review!

I agree that it's Nessie!

I really think you should do a blog! You've got a fan base already.

The snorkeling looks fun. I've never done it, but I'll have to try it now.

What wonderfully sweet picutures of the two of you looking at each other.
I agree this is my favorite thread, too!

You are an amazing guy! I can't wait to read more, but I do understand putting the family first. :)

That menu sounds exquisite.. what a treat! :)

Interesting that they took your temperature and checked you out. Great review so far!

Great shots. I haven't been to Key West in many years. I've never been on this ship, but I'm getting a good viewpoint of it!

Absolutely gorgeous pictures so far. I love the Miami coastline pictures. I can't wait to read more! Thank you for sharing. :)

I love this thread. I change my desktop picture all the time from here! :) (Right click and set as background picture)

My husband had an injured knee and required crutches on our first cruise. He was able to get around just fine. People were very accomodating and moved out of his way.

Funny they don't ban repeat chair hogs! :D

I believe there are a number of ways to become persona no grata with a cruiseline...For instance, people who are put off the ship in a port of call for any number of behavioral infractions. Remember the person on CC a few years ago who always complained to her cruiseline about things on her cruises, and repeatedly got refunds and future credits? And bragged about it here? She got a letter disinviting her to book with them in the future, and when she tried to book with their sister line, they wouldn't take her booking. EM
I remember her. Wasn't she a lawyer or something similar? I rarely complain unless it's something that needs to be addressed.

David and jerome from the Triumph 07 cruise. They were very efficient and knew us very quickly. We didn't need to make any requests once they knew what we liked and disliked.
Ramona on the Freedom - a very professional and efficient person. She was clearly educated and knowlegable. She quietly took care of us. We sought her out at breakfast and lunch in the other dining room.

There is a story that goes with this picture. At 41 my sister had a major stroke. To save her life they had to do surgery and as a result, take out about 1/3 of her skull....it stayed safe in her belly for over a year (because she had a staph infection post op they did not want to put it back too soon) while she recovered. At her most critical moment in the ICU, I held her hand and told her if she would only open her eyes I would take her anywhere in the world she wanted to go....her eyes flew open (the first of many miracles!), and as soon as she came off the ventilator she requested we go on a cruise. So in late April this year, almost 2 years after her stroke, we boarded the Legend with our mom, our other sister, two nieces and my sisters’ best friend. My sister wanted to swim with the dolphins more than anything else, so I scheduled the Royal Swim. Although VERY skeptical when we arrived, given my sisters physical limitations, the staff agreed to "let her try”. This picture was taken during the foot push.....what you can't see are the six women standing in the water watching her, laughing and crying at the same time. Since this day, my sister has continued to recover, expanding her horizons daily; because this moment in time renewed her confidence and made her realize that ANYTHING is possible!
What a wonderful, brave lady!!!

I didn't have a good experience with the laundry room, either. On our first Triumph cruise, I met an obnoxious man there..but that could happen on any cruise line or ship. It's better to bring a small steamer (Wal-Mart has them). I brought one on our last cruise and it worked great! No waiting for the iron..and no aggravation.

Oh let's not talk about hidden Mickeys. My family has spent a lot of time looking for them at WDW. I'll look for the coin on the Glory. :)
