  1. When you get off the ship, there is a little building. In there they have all the different options and prices on a big sign. I think we would have taken the train, except the ship's concierge lied to us and told us there wouldn't be cabs available to the train station and my mother didn't think she could do the 3/4 mile walk. There were cabs available to the train station AND all the way into Stockholm. I don't remember the prices, but the price we paid for 4 of us to take the ship's excursion bus into town was not much different than taking a private cab round trip.

  2. I'd love to see Stockholm, but the idea of visiting smaller rural villages in Sweden is appealing too. Is it possible to not see Stockholm this time and just do a tour right out of Nynashamn, or even rent a car and tour some smaller towns?:rolleyes:

     

    Another question: I have Celiac's disease so must eat a gluten free diet, do restaurants cater to gluten free in Sweden? Thanks in advance for your advice!
