aren't they going to ask her if she had covid in the last 14 days or is that still on the checkin questions

I have a friend who wanted me to reach out and ask a question for her. she is cruising on Sunday. She was sick last week and tested positive for covid on wednesday. she is feeling fine now and tested negative today monday will she be able to cruise next week. she is concerned because of the health wellness questions she will be asked at check-in and doesn't want to be flagged and go through a hassle

I think my favorite reading is when someone post or ask a question that has nothing to do with what type of cabin you are in.. But guarantee someone will drop the line " well I'm in the Haven or Presidential suite and the answer to your question is" ........They will all start hinting at the nicer type cabins they are in.
luv it

Alright I think I have my last question:
During booking, when I choose airfare, ground transportation is automatically added at a price of over $300. If we plan to arrive a few days before the cruise and leave a couple days after disembarking, we wouldn't be using their shuttle. Can that be refunded (even OBC would be fine) or is that a cost we'd just eat? Or given the distance from port to city (like Le Havre to Paris) maybe it would make sense to take their transportation to the airport and just leave from there in a cab.
You don't have to use the ground transportation. when i booked mine i told them i would not be using did not charge me . no problem. I am also coming in 2 days early. i have used this a few years ago. i did have a layover on the way back. i think depending on where your flying from makes a big difference, i am flying from Dallas so the flight seemed to be a lot better than some airports.

going next month if I'm reading correctly you can use your platinum voucher at any restaurant. you use to get a choice of either Cagneys or Bistro. and the second voucher either at La carina or Los Lobos

Look down thru the pages of NCL posts. There are numerous posts about people’s experiences. Some of the threads are several pages long.
Here’s one for example

Just looking to hear some experiences of cruisers who booked their airfare through NCL. I ma looking to book a cruise in March on the Prima and they include the 2nd Guest air fare. It is a major savings compared to booking the air fare myself. Just not sure if I 'm ready for it.
Thank you
I'm doing the same in march on the prima. i have used the free airfare once with NCL it wasn't too bad just a longer layover on the way back. we flew nonstop in and one stop back. we fly from dallas which seems to get better flights. we will see. I am going in 2 days early so it shouldn't be too bad. you can request to come in earlier with a little add on charge

I have been vaccinated and double boosted. During the pandemic I visited Disneyworld multiple times, sometimes for 14 days at a stretch. I live in a golf community that wouldn't understand social distancing no matter how many times it was explained. I have flown at least a half dozen times to various locations staying in many hotels. I live in a state that hasn't abided by masking requirement for the entire pandemic. I sailed in August of 2021 and January and March of 2023. I evaded COVID for all of that time, through all of that traveling. Since the more virulent strains have become predominant I have cruised twice. Both times (July and August) I have returned from the cruises with COVID. The first instance could have been considered like a "cold", but I promise you this last time was not. It was very much like a bad flu with a temperature of 102.9. I am about to sail again for 3 weeks, so I will be getting the 3rd booster and hope that my immunity is in overdrive since I had a more severe case this last time. I fully support relaxing the rules on testing since it really only captures a moment in time rendering it a useless tool. What everyone should know, however, is that for me, and for many others that I know who have had similar experiences, you should be prepared to get COVID (likely towards the end of your cruise). While the likelihood that the vaccinated will not require medical attention, it will not be a pleasant experience either. Take medications with you such as Mucinex, Tylenol, Throat Lozenges, and Cough Suppressant. Have a plan in place in the event that you are too sick to make it home, and
bring masks so that you don't spread it to anyone else.
same here have your experience is almost identical to min . have travel a lot and have done 6 cruises since startup. my first cruise when mask were not required sure enough got covid now thats on me since i didn't wear mine. I had a rough bout of Covid. think i will wear my mask indoors. think elevators and casino and clubs

I have done 45 cruises and usually have gotten balconies or higher. then i relized i never went out on the balconies so started getting OV . balconies were always much warmer than OV or Inside cabin. i did my firs inside last month think i slept better than i ever had . very dark and very cold. but i do enjoy being able to see outside.. so OV has become my favorite balance plus i am doing about 5-6 cruises a year now so could enjoy the extra money lol. now if i can keep from getting up at night and walking a couple cabins and a flight of stairs to the casino lol

If you are under the cage line, you'll hear a lot of crying and sobbing from folks who started with $1000 and are cashing in a $0.25 voucher.
There haven't been that many people on the Prima and none under a real cruise condition. And people who can tell us how well sound proofed (or not) the decks are. In general, you get some bleed through noise, especially if the casino gets loud. Personally, I would not stay under/over a casino or bar.
agreed but it was free so didn't have any other choice

if by chance someone is on the Prima staying in a oceanview cabin under the casino please give me info in noise situation. i have cabin 5188 not sure about this. i am under the front of the casino cage lol
-
are vibe passes availiable
-
went ahead and booked it i had a free inside room and it worked for the Prima. did upgrade to oceanview a while back when there weren't any complete deck plans. of course they came out and of course half of cabin is under the casino not sure how this will go we will see. luckily looks like the bed is not under the casino

it does seem like it can be faked but i guess most people will test themselves first if they test positive then they will have to decide if they should take a chance and travel away from home which may keep some from not taking the chance of getting sick out in the open waters.. sure some will travel if test positive and use someone else test but think it will weed out some. even with the way testing on ships was going there was plenty of Covid on my cruises the last 5 months

person takes voucher then puts into another machine plays a bit cashes it out then the voucher number has changed. now land based casino have the technology to track each time voucher goes into a machine new one prints out etc. my friend in vegas left a $350 ticket in machine some took it and played different machine they could track it around the casino by the time they found the person it was only worth $95 lol

thats terrible thats one of my favorite stops

Bliss has it going on . I am a social smoker and the way its set up with an enclosed smoking area works great. Like i said i do smoke but the overpower of smoking going to other parts of the ship do bother me so this set up is a win win
