Thank you for posting the When & Where. It’s good to know the activities on board. We will be on the Veendam next year.

What was using all the loungers? People? or Towels?
Actually, it was people. With only 2 pools and 1 adult pool, the loungers were full.

On our recent holiday cruise on the Royal, we had breakfast with passengers from a superior aft balcony cabin. They said that dry, black soot rained down on them as they sat on their balcony. Hope it works out for you.

We just returned from a holiday cruise on the Royal. The Retreat pool was very quiet, with comfortable loungers. But it was nearly impossible to find an open lounger on sea days.

Hello all, when mailing letters from the Caribbean, can you use U.S. postage stamps or do you have to use stamps from the specific Island?
To be specific, the Islands would be: St. Kitts, St. Lucia, Barbados, Antigua, St. Thomas, St. John and Eleuthera (Princess Cays).
Thank you in advance, Jim
PS, also, with regard to exchanging currency on board, can you exchange Canadian coins for U.S. currency? The reason I ask is for the past 30 some odd years I have been a coin collector/hoarder, and since I used to purchase coins by the coffee can, cigar box, hat box, singles, multiples and any other "ples" mostly at estate sales, I have accumulated a LOT of foreign coins and I'd like to take the Canadian coins that have no collector value and exchange them for U.S. currency if I can do this on the ship.:)
For all Caribbean islands we have cruised to with Princess, the Purser's desk had postage stamps for all of them. Just ask for post card stamps for whatever island it is. You pay for them with your cruise card. For St. Thomas and St. John, US postage is used. We have never been able to mail post cards from Princess Cays (Eleuthera), though.

I'm not asking what is your favourite souvenir from your cruise ports, rather what is the favourite item you bought on board a Princess ship and why? Is is a Princess logo item like a robe, mug or a towel? Is it something you bought in one of their shops like a bottle of perfume or one of the limited time only booths that gets set up for a day? What item has the fondest memories for you?
Some of our favorite cruise souvenirs are collared shirts with the ship's name printed on the pocket, especially those from former Princess ships like the Regal Princess and the soon-to-be renamed Tahitian Princess.

We bought art on Princess ships on our first cruises from 2000-2004, and have enjoyed the art ever since. We never purchased it for an investment. In those years, there were plenty of reasonably priced pieces available ($100-300 with frame). In the last several years, the art has become much more expensive, and we don't feel comfortable buying art that costs as much as a cruise.
We go to the occasional auction for the entertainment and free champagne. But if a piece really catches our attention, and is not too expensive, we will buy again.

Here is a recent thread that may be helpful. There are a few pictures, as well.

Is this Hyorundfjord, near Alesund?
We were also there on the Zuiderdam in July 2018.
Thanks for the photo.
