We were on her in late Feb and experienced nothing like what you mention.  Special note was our room (Ocean Suite) was 2nd coolest we have experienced.  66.5 at the coldest setting.  Sorry your experience was down somewhat.

We were on the same MG cruise as the OP last week and definitely had the coldest room we have ever had ( 40 cruises).  Square interior.  It was awesome!

The one perk I wish they would change is the free drink at seaday Brunch, it clogs up Brunch with DImond/Plat all wanting there free drink. It would be alivated by making that free drink be good at any bar/any time.

That's funny.  I've done brunch my last 5 or 6 cruises without ordering my "free" drink.

oh, perhaps it's even closer than I realized. I was basing what I thought on a video from a Youtuber. Before we went I guess I didn't realize it was so close. We had previous been to Nassau like 3-4 times, but like I said on cruises with multiple ports, necessitating longer sails, but dang I didn't know they'd just go in circles all day!

Miami to Bimini is 48 Nautical miles.

As we know, taste is subjective. Personally, I wouldn't give you $5 for BT but that's just me. It's nice to have choices.

Not a fan either. I find Woodford better than BT, but I'd take Blanton's over both of them.

Might try some next week on Mardi Gras if I can find it in any of the bars.

Usually the steakhouse bar has it on most ships.  Vista is the only Alchemy Bar I've seen it at. I saw on CC that Pig and Anchor had it on MG.  Please report back if this is true because we get on her the day you get off!😜

One benefit of the smoke-free casino annex on Carnival is you're more likely to get a drink from a server if you have DOU (and maybe even get it faster).

You would think, but this was not the case on the Vista last month.

What's the difference between Blanton's and my current fav Woodford Reserve?  Smokier? Just curious on what you all think.  Yes, I will try it on my next cruise in September😉

I wouldn't say smokier.  It's just incredibly smooth. Definitely prefer Blantons over Woodford and Buffalo Trace.  I haven't been able to find a bottle on land for the past few years. The only time I get it is on a cruise....which is probably a good thing! 😜
