Margery Glacier was quite active this May 2017. We have been to this Glacier 9 times and this is the first time to have seen so much activity on a larger scale. I compiled all the calving from this trip.

Back from out recent Rhine river Cruise with AmaWaterways, I started to compile all our video clips of the Christmas market tours. This video is one of many, but I thought I would do one just of the Christmas markets first and the rest of the cruise next.

We are recently back from the holiday cruise on AmaReina. We love the Christmas markets in Europe and have been often. This trip was made even better by several days of snowfall, which enhanced our winter wonderland experience.

We must have just got off the AmaReina ahead of you Caviargal. We missed all the snow which was too bad. We got off the boat and headed to Switzerland and there was no snow there either, not even on top of Mt. Rigi. I think some snow would have even made the markets even better.

Hey everyone, I just written a post and clicked the "X" on my browser accidentally. I wrote about what an amazing time we had on the new (2014) AmaReina on the Rhine river, and in each of the Christmas markets we visited. I was almost Christmas'd out by the time we come home and had to get out house looking festive. This was our first river cruise and do not think it will be our last. Ama out-did themselves in making sure we really got the most experiences possible in such a short time. They really kept us moving, so much so, we gained no weight while enjoying great meals and exception baking and pastries. The was always an abundance of Christmas goodies with-in reach. Words can not explain the atmosphere there, so I purposed to take lots of videos of everything. I finally finished a compilation of just the markets and areas near by. Later I'll do the ship and other areas we toured.

Is this from your recent trip, and if so, which town? We may have to look for it. If they serve Ivar's, I know they can't be too far from Seattle.

Yes we just did a May trip to Alaska. This picture is in Ketchikan a few blocks from pier on the way to Creek Street.
