Avoid in Grand Cayman. In Jan/17 they - without notice - cancelled our tour + another one because of lack of participants. We wasted an hour of port time for the meeting time they set and then showed to say it was cancelled.
On the other hand, the walking tour in San Juan (MRL1213@hotmail.com) was FANTASTIC.

We arrive on the NCL Star (C254) on May 16 and have reservations on the DFDS ship to Olso later that afternoon. How far is the DFDS terrminal from where the NCL docks (C254) and what is the best way to get there?

THANK YOU AGAIN!! I'm really leaning towards doing this. I think I asked you this question months ago but I can't find that post. Are there lockers at the ferry terminal in Copenhagen where we can 1) leave our luggage for a few hours when we get off our cruise and 2) leave our biggest suitcases if we do the b2b to Oslo?
Thanks. Gee, we all ought to be buying you a beverage in Denmark!!!:D

True but the 16 1/2 hours is overnight so the ferry will be our "hotel" each way and likely no more expensive than a hotel room on land. I'm really torn. We arrive in Copenhagen early afternoon, leave late the next day on the cruise and have 3 nights somewhere before flying out of Copenhagen mid-afternoon. So, we either divide up roughly 4 days in total (minus going from airport to hotel to cruise ship), see Copenhagen in 4 different 1/2 day sprints and have a taste of Oslo at roughly the same cost or spend the 4 days in and around Copenhagen. Thank you again.:confused:

We have a few days at the end of our cruise (which does not go to Norway). Is it worth going to Oslo and back (our flight leaves from Copenhagen) even if just for 6 or 7 hours in Oslo. The ferry isn't likely any more expensive than a couple of nights in a hotel in Copenhagen. We're from Canada so may not get back to the Baltics. Thank you.

A lot (in terms of rate) depends on when you are going. I wrote reviews on Trip Advisor for the Hotel Wilton ($75US/night) in Buenos Aires and the Hotel Orly ($110US/night) in Santiago. I would recommend both unless you are looking for 5 star fancy.
Tour Company Recommendation?

We took a walking tour of Old San Juan earlier this month (Feb/17) from Margarita Reyes, a Certified Tour Guide (MRL1213@hotmail.com). It was 3 hrs long, very informative and interesting as well as reasonably priced. It took us through streets, neighbourhoods and included a nice tour of the fort. The meeting point was very near (5 min walk) the port and it ended up in the old shopping district a short walk from the ship so we could choose to spend time on our own in an interesting area or head directly back to the ship. We were very impressed with Margarita's tour and sense of timing (eg. arriving at the fort before many of the crowds on tour buses got there). This is worth looking into.
