Our house has been on the market for 3 weeks. We only had one showing in all that time but they made an offer. $35,000 less than asking. They want us to pay all closing fees. Real estate market is apparently very slow right now. Realtor thinks we should take it. I want to counter for at least $5000 more. What says the Tribe?

I would counter with them paying closing costs Not you.

We sold my deceased Moms house Sat. We Were offered 20k below market price and we accepted because fast close and no inspections. Neighbor wanted it for family. The 20k was about what it would cost to fix, Thought it was fair to both party's.

Looking into TSA precheck.  Live in a rural town in North Texas, anyone in North Texas care to tell me how you did yours? Looks like you have to go to an enrollment center?   I normally wouldn't look into this but going on an Alaskan cruise later this year and planning a British Isles cruise next year.  Figured it would come in handy.  Thank you!

I would do the Global entry if doing British Isles. If you do global entry it includes the TSA.

Global entry is where they use the Kiosk and facial recognition instead of standing in  Passport line coming back into the states. Global entry you Start application online, once approved you will have to make a face to face appointment with customs agent at airport. We did our application online in Sept and had our face to face in Springfield Mo last week. It may be easier for you since DFW is a place you can go for Appointment. I live in Oklahoma  and they have no airports that offer this. The Global entry fee is $100.

Has anyone had experience redeeming expired Disneyland tickets? In perhaps the worst timing ever, I bought DL tickets just weeks before the 2020 shutdown for a planned summer 2020 trip, which of course didn't happen. We have been thinking about trying to use them next year, since they do retain indefinitely the original value spent. The reservation system has been our main obstacle, since in the beginning it didn't work with expired tickets. Even the DL employee I spoke to told me I'd have to show up in person without advance reservations to redeem the tickets, and just hope there was space for us in the parks that day.

It's been a couple of years since I checked, so I tried again recently. The website actually still recognizes our tickets. I went through the process of a mock reservation online, all the way up to the final "confirm" button, and it looked like it was going to work. Has anyone else actually done this?

We bought Disney World tickets back in 90s and it got so cold in December when we were there We left early. We had one more day on tickets,

Fast forward to mid 2000s and we went to Florida for cruise and we went early to see if they would honor tickets and they did.

No, we have BJ's. I did hear about that though. Thank you.

I bought new car this year using American Express Car Buying Program. Got to put 5k on card to get more travel points. They wanted my Old 97 CRV offered 3 grand, told them no because a friend wanted it for their son. Sold it to him for a much cheaper Price.

I can’t put my bag under the seat in front of me because of her foot.

Back when SW had the seats facing each other, we were in our seats  facing front and a guy from another country took seats facing back, took off his shoes and socks and had his wife massage his nasty Stinky feet. Called Flite attendant to have them stop it and put shoes back on. He screamed at us, but not in English. His feet smelled  So horribly  Bad

Since I procrastinated on my run this morning because of the cold, I decided to take my afternoon zoom on the road. I mall walked like a champion, so I could pay attention, that counts for something, right? Now to make a few calls. City park picture for fun.

It’s 65 degrees here, yet snow is 11 hours away. Thanks Oklahoma. Just a little over 39 hours until departure.

Make sure to bring our 65 degree temp back with you. It will be missed next week.
