Would someone please direct me to where I can see the cocktails available at this package level? I know my wife's favorite drink ( mojito) is not included, but what is?

Thank you if you can help.

I have great news for you. You can have a mojito on the easy package or drinks on us package. Here's how. Order a No-jito and a shot of Bacardi and mix. Most bartenders / servers will mix it for you.

    Cheers!

    Hi!

I have a question about the stateroom doors - are they metal? Like to hold a magnet? Do passengers on MSC ships decorate their doors? Thanks so much for any info.

Left the Armonia this morning. I can confirm the doors are magnetic. Noticed a few decorated with fridge magnets.

  3. Cruised seaside in October. With drinks on us. You are allowed one spirit and on mixer. There is one Vodka (Sky), Gin (Beefeater), Whiskey (Canadian Club), and Rum (Bacardi). There are a few beers available (Bud, Coors, Corona). There are also 2 mixed drinks included (Long island, Rum punch). Also one red wine and one white wine (I didn't partake).

  4. I'll be in the Allure in a standard inside cabin. Accessible was sold out. I called the guest access department and the rep said bring it and store it in your cabin. He said he would make a note on my booking. My TA confirmed the note.

Here's the question, what happens if it doesn't fit upon arrival, will they park it and charge it in a closet somewhere? I need it mostly for long distance (think going the entire distance of the ship or in Port)

  5. Hello, I'm on board the Island Princess, we have just completed an amazing day viewing the glaciers in Galcier Bay National Park.

This morning about 7:30 there was an emergency announcement for a fire in the deck 4 engine room. We were having breakfast in the Horizons buffet area. About 5 minutes later, the general emergency alarm was sounded and all crew were called to their emergency stations. They remained for about 30 minutes before being released. We were advised that the fire was struck pretty quickly and that we were in no danger. We continued a fantastic day in Glacier Bay NP.

Shortly after dropping the rangers, inspectors from coast guard boarded the ship as we sat still in the water. They were onboard for about 1 and a half hours and now we are continuing in.

The captain has done a great job keeping us informed of the situation. He advised the fire was due to a leaking oil pipe in the engine room. We have no indication that the itinerary will be altered in any way.

  6. I have talked with my TA and wrote a complaint to Carnival. I still have not heard anything back. I do not want any compensation or apology. I just want them to fix the warm rooms. We had a good time on our DREAM cruise (minus the warm room). But I think it is ridiculous that Carnival allows this to continue.

The more I think about it, the more it is obvious, that Carnival knows that some rooms are warm. Maybe the warm cabins are reserved for the guests who received a great deal. :D ANd maybe the rooms are warm because Carnival wants to save some $$$ by reducing power usage:confused:

Regardless, the Dream was fun. The room we got was sticky warm.

Hey man, it may be worth it for you to call in to customer care. My room mate called and explained our frustrations with the AC. We were extended a 15% discount on a future cruise and a partial refund for the Dream cruise.

  7. I'll weigh in here is as well. I was in 9474 last week. The first 2.5 days the room was unbearably hot. Sweating while laying in bed. I personally went to guest services 3 times. Each time a technician came to the cabin while we were not in the room and left a table tent that said everything is within carnival specs. Day 3 my roommate caught the tech in the room he was putting the temperature probe in the cold air output to get a temp read. It read 73. My roommate made him stand in the middle of the room with the probe. Surprise, surprise is was 78.6. He promised he would make it better. That night after dinner, the temp in the cabin was bearable and remained bearable until the last sea day. At that point we had given up. We were determined to not let it ruin our vacation.

I'll say this, one of my favorite things about sea days is taking an afternoon nap. Because of the temp in the cabin it was too uncomfortable to do so.

I did talk to our cabin steward about the situation. I asked him to be honest. He was very worried about his job to speak honestly about it, but he confirmed that there was a problem in his section for at least the last 6 cruises. We dealt with it for a week, imagine having to clean toilets and showers in these conditions for 6 weeks and it's still not fixed?

I'll be calling customer care to file a complaint. It didn't ruin my cruise, but it definitely was a detriment.
