Since Valor is such a port intensive ship, is it worth it? What about the first night since you leave port so late, can you just buy it without that day? We like wine with dinner, is it hard to get a second glass (or third) during the dining service? We will have a table for 8 with at least 5 of us wine drinkers at dinner and have usually bought wine packages. I am just learning about the cheers program and confused!

We just got off the ship on Friday too. We were in 4166 port side. Had flushing issues a few times but eventually seemed to resolve itself. The AC in our room worked well during the whole trip. The furniture on our balcony needed to be trashed as the faux wicker was unraveling.

Didn't see this one, sounds like a fantastic cruise. I'm going to have to investigate. We were in Peru 2 years ago and missed Machu Picchu due to the terrible flooding the railway was washed out. I would love to go back. We were with a group of 14 and the tour company did a fantastic job with a substitute tour of the Sacred Valley but still would love to go to Machu Piccu. If you want to book private tour for either Lima or Machu Picchu, maybe they are in other ports as well, I do not hesitate to recommend http://www.inkaexperience.com/
They were not very expensive, we felt safe, and got more than what we paid for! Great, professional young people. Loved, loved, loved Peru, I can imagine how great the rest of the ports will be.

Looks like a great place, did you make a reservation or do you just show up? Cost to get there and to get in? Thanks.
