NCL has been steadily moving itself upmarket since just before the pandemic.   They don't want to compete with Royal and Carnival anymore.   It seems they want to be the somewhat more family oriented alternative to things like Princess and Celebrity.   The prices and the new ships are definitely reflecting that too.

This is already a thing (except for the dole whip) on at least the vista class.   Cherry on Top has a full ice cream bar in there.

I’d love to see an Alfred Gockel design for the Encore.

Having sailed both the Vista class and the Breakaway class ships, I'd have to go with the Breakaway.

It ended up being a bit more expensive but I had a much better time than I did on the Vista. To each their own.

Why don't people just get passports?! It's a pretty painless process overall. They last for a decade! I don't understand.
