was on the virtuose in april. it was a day stop only in jeddah. It took over 2 hours at the terminal building to get in the country and 1.5 hours to get out at the end of the day

On my recent trip from dubai to barcalona ( end of March ), bottles of water were supplied each evening in the dining room
-
Yes it was a single entry visa

For my cruise in the middle east, MSC did not sell insurance, but required it . They suggested i use one of their partner companies and thats where the problem started
-
it was necessary to go to front desk to get a new cruise card . even though i had status match, and a voyager number. it wasnt until i pointed it out did I receive the benefits of Voyager club status match

After MSC in dubai refused me boarding , i was able to secure a policy from the dubai port in person which enabled me to present to MSC and they let me board . From what i could determine it was not a policy offered to me by MSC.
It was a tense few hours
Keep in mind this was 3/4 around the world and in a foreign port to me

I was on the MSC Virituosa which stopped in Jeddah , SA on April 5 ,2022. It took 2 hours to get visa on the ship before arrival and the cost was about $ 50.00 US by CC .
The wait in the terminal was 2 hours to enter the country, even when having a MSC purchased excursion. The excursion was just OK.
When arriving back at the terminal it took another hour just to reboard the ship.
IMO the day was a complete waste of time

I have replied to another thread on the subject
I was denied boarding in dubai on March 26 because the insurance policy i purchased through TUGO ( partner company of MSC cruises Canada ) did not specifically mention covid insurance
I was assured I had this coverage but was denied boarding
Just be careful.

On a island princess cruises to the baltic end of june . Any idea of possible show times would be helpful to plan meal times

Sorry cannot answer your questions
i assume it was a policy made available by MSC corp ( not tugo or US supplier )
i no longer have paperwork regarding the policy ( it was stolen later in my trip ) )
I paid about $ 100 US dollars and was relieved to get on the ship
-
the big bonus is many of the cabins on the 14 floor have a dedicated elevator which goes down the side of the ship and hardly used
-
Of course , i had all the policies supplied by TUGO. They seemed to say their was no reference to Covid
After 17 hours traveling from canada , I was stuck with few choices
I purchased a policy offered at the dock and boarded my cruise
-
Just returned from a trip on the virituosa . Had a balcony on deck 14. It was a great balcony with no obstruction other than the metal supports, It did tend to be a bit noisey at times but over nothing serious
-
I was told that i did not have covid insurance, so they refursed boarding. Tugo had assured me that i did when i purchased their 2 policies After much discussion they decided they could sell me another policy at the dock. Currently under investigation by MSC and also TUGO
-
Having recently returned from a MSC cruise starting in Dubai ,was refused boarding to the ship even with all the TUGO coverage ( as outlined by MSC )

i have always brought diet soda on board . just check in at pier with luggage, likely the same with bottled water

Cruise statement
I just received my final statement two days after the end of my baltic cruise
i was assured by the front desk it would be sent by email the day you disembarked
I might suggest you get the front desk to print off a copy on the night before you get off.
