  1. Does anyone know who the Suite Lounge concierge/s will be for the January 15th sailing of Allure? Looking at the spreadsheet, Ana is disembarking that day and Dexter does not come back until the following Sunday January 22nd.

Just trying to get an idea of who we will have? Happy New Year everyone!!!!!

    Smitty

I believe Ana is there until the 29th and that is when Dexter is coming back

  2. Wrong! It is my business since I am a non-smoking gambler with lung issues! My time in the casino is limited due to the smoke and also my business when they are blocking access to machines I would like to play! I am currently on a ship and experiencing this every evening!

You have the right to your opinion and I have the right to my opinion!

  3. American Airlines just changes the time of our flight on our return home. It went from 10:40 am to 9:25 am. We will be getting off of the Allure, can we make the flight if we have TSA precheck and walk off the boat with our luggage at the early time slot?

Another option may be since it is more than a 1/2 hour change in time, you could see what other flights AA have at a later time and there should be no charge to take the later. Sometimes I have been able to use this option and others I had to go with the new time.

  4. I am a little confused by your post. Is the problem with the group who brag about their C&A status or the group that brag about being able to afford a suite?

I think the real problem is the group of people who just have an issue with minding their own business. Whether it is about who is in the CL or DL and how you obtained the right to access those places, what category cabin you book, how you dress, how much you tip and how you do it, how much you eat, or how you raise your kids. Keep your nose out of my business and I'll happily reciprocate.

    Well said!!!!!! [emoji1] [emoji1] [emoji1]

  5. Perhaps it would be useful if there was a confirmed list where a ship gave someone a discount on a beverage package based on status. I'm on Allure very soon and they are offering 20% off for everyone but that isn't enough for me to consider it given my D+ benefits. I think the 40% that has been mentioned and verified on a ship or two would put me in the range of strongly considering it. I would love to know if anyone recently got a discount based on C&A status.

Below is a list. If anyone has confirmation put a yes next to the ship name.

    Adventure

    Allure

    Anthem

    Brilliance

    Enchantment

    Explorer

    Freedom

    Grandeur

    Independence

    Jewel

    Legend

    Liberty

    Majesty

    Mariner

    Navigator

    Oasis

    Quantum

    Radiance

    Rhapsody

    Serenade

    Splendor

    Vision

    Voyager

Currently sailing on Navigator and was told no discounts on packages. Told it was tried on Adventure in December as trial, but was not well received so discontinued. Hard to believe folks would not like discounts.[emoji1]

  6. We just got off Adventure the 9th. Package discounts were listed right on the slip the guy had you sign when you bought the package - 20% off for D, 30% off for D+ and 40% off for Pinn. Did not matter which package. We both bought the Premium pkg which would normally be around $404 for a week, with the 30% off it was just shy of $283 so a huge savings per package.

We still enjoyed the DL every night and went in the CL once. DL on Adventure is way nicer

Celebrity - we love have the pkg included on Silhouette and still went up to the Sky Lounge each evening for the top tier event. Really enjoyed the little bites to eat and talking to the various officers that came and went. We personally loved Silhouette and hubby by far thought it was the best food he has ever had on a cruise ship

I have to say b/c of view we more often go to the DL vs CL anyway so really doesn't matter to me but it is nice to have access to both. I will also say, as a rule, the place clears right before early dinner so have never found it impossible to find a place to sit. People are usually very friendly and if there are spaces open by them, you are normally more than welcome to join them.

And even with the pkg on Celebrity we still go to the nightly event for a while just to enjoy the atmosphere and talking to other cruises and the staff.

According to BV management here on the Navigator the discounts were offered this past December on the Adventure but have been discontinued as it did not go over well. Was told that sometimes it takes a while to get the word out that the trial was discontinued. My only response was I did not know many people,if they were aware of something being discounted, they would want to pay full price. Oh well it is RCCL we are talking about.

  7. Sent a note to the concierge on the Navigator. Did not get a response. Has the email address changed? (I know that some now have an "01" in them.) Help!

Also, the spreadsheet that I see on this thread appears to have suite info. Where did the Cl spreadsheet go?

    Thanks!

Spoke too soon just received a reply to my email to the Navigator concierge about Saturday's sailing. [emoji1]

I had sent one about 12 days ago and sent another 3 days ago. Did not receive a reply to either. Some concierge just do not reply. Figured I would just her on Saturday.

  9. Hi,

Can you explain the muster station/tickets? Do you mean that everyone at a particular muster station is assigned a particular area at the rink . . . like if you are at muster station #1, there will be a section identified for muster station #1? And what do you do for identification . . do you get an actual ticket for entrance? Thanks in advance for clearing this up for me. Diane

Your muster station is on your sea pass card

  10. The earliest you can begin to get off will be 7:00 or 7:30.The ship has to be cleared and then the luggage starts to go off. We shoot for being off by 9:00 or 9:30 but as we require wheelchair assistance it's whenever they have folks available to assist us. It also depends on your color / numbered luggage tag. You get off the ship when your bags are off and you can go through customs / immigration.

Or you can just do walk off with your luggage

  11. In my opinion, it's the least desireable of the three that Royal commonly uses: 18, 25, and 29. I think it has less space inside than 25. However, our experience is that disembarkation is less likely to be backed up in 29 than 25.

Thanks we will be using it for the Navigator in a couple of weeks. Have only used 18 and 25 before.

  12. I stumbled upon the bargain prices last night...I booked a JS on Adventure of the Seas, cabin 9618 for March 31, 2018. The price was $2277 for 2, which includes gratuities and insurance. I'm pretty excited about it!

For some reason I was only charged $250 for my deposit. I called back tonight because I didn't want to lose this great deal due to not paying the correct deposit. So I ended up paying another $250 deposit, and not a word was said about the price.

Keeping my fingers crossed that we don't get a phone call or e-mail saying we've been cancelled.

I believe there is a promotion through today with reduced deposits.

  13. Paula Abdul sitting beside us in Chops on Oasis or Allure. This was right after she was let go/left...American Idiol.

It was on the Oasis. She was out and about quite a bit. She was really good with the kids signing autographs and taking pictures with them. You always knew when she was going to be coming around as one of her (actually her boy friend insisted on having them) security guys would come into the venue about 5 minutes before she would enter.
