Thanks everyone.
Guess we will just see what’s being offered.

Leaving out of Port Everglades on a Princess cruise on 4/20/24 for the first time, and wondering what terminal number we need to be at. Not sure if there's a website with departure dates and and terminal number or will PCL give us this info ahead of time?
We are also sailing on Princess 4/20.
We are on Enchanted Princess. You?

Not possible to compare apples and pears as they are very different from each other. The #1 choice for Kusadasi is definitely Ephesus, followed by some shopping in the market if that appeals.
Many many past threads for Kusadasi and Ephesus and you would find it helpful to read a few of them.
Ephesus:

Kusadasi:

Split is totally different and and becoming a favourite with those who visit. Reading some of the past threads would be helpful to you:

Thanks for the links, I will definitely read up more before deciding!

Which port is better and why, Split, Croatia or Kusadasi, Turkey? I know we all have different opinions so that’s why I am asking for the reason for your choice.
All the other ports are just about the same in the itineraries I am considering.
Thanks in advance.

I get your answer and your preference for docking in scenic ports as an added attraction for the cruise.
Just a word about docking and European river cruises. You will get great scenery while cruising, however, docking is another matter. Quite often the ships will "stack" at the dock. That means that the ships are adjacent to each other and the passengers walk through the other ships to reach the dock. Your view is likely to be a cabin in the next ship which is practically within arm's reach of yours. This is specially true of Viking river cruises that operates several ships on the same itineraries at the exact same time. (The reason is that Viking operates some ships for English speaking passengers, others for German, etc, etc. They run identical itineraries and they stack at the dock. Other companies may have to stack according to dock availability.)
Wow! That I did not know!

It would be very dependent on the ports on an itinerary. For instance ships anchor in Kotor, Montenegro and the view is lovely because you can see the bay plus you get a beautiful sail in and sail out of the Bay of Kotor.
When you dock at Katakolon, Greece you have a view of the very cute town.
Messina, Sicily has a nice view over the city and you can watch the ferries coming and going from the port.
Naples, Italy has a nice view of the city and across to Mt Vesuvius.
In Corfu you have a view across to the city and forts.
Valletta, Malta has a beautiful view of the harbour and city, Rhodes, Greece has a view over the old city and Kusadasi, Turkey has a view of the city and Pigeon Island. You can get a good view of Santorini and also Mykonos in Greece.
I could go on and on as I have been to many of the ports in the Mediterranean but I won't bore you. As a very general rule the larger ports such as Barcelona, Civitavecchia (for Rome), and Livorno (for Florence) are not particularly scenic but the smaller ports often have a lovely view but is not always the case.
There is beautiful scenery from the ship in both east and west Mediterranean ports but in my opinion the east probably just beats the west. I daresay others would think the opposite. 😊
That is exactly what I am looking for! Thank you!

How do you know how many points you earn?
Can you only see them at the time you are cruising?
I have received many casino based promo emails.
-
Thank you all for your responses, some nice, some not so nice!😇
We will keep watching until we book. Will probably do the package again though.

We recently cruised with Princess and the Princess Plus package.
We are thinking about booking for next year but probably won’t do the package again.
Here’s my question, do they ever offer special promotions or deals for that package or are they always 60.00 pp/pn for the Plus?
TIA!

I like the idea of parking at terminal 2 for a quick exit after the cruise.
Is it possible to walk to Term 21 or is Uber the only way?
-
Does it literally have to be “within 72 hours”? Sailing at 330p on Sunday, does test have to be after 330p on Thursday?
Leaving this Sunday so don’t want any issues for our unvaccinated friends.
-
My invoice says “DND Free Medallion shipping” but it says 10.00 each for both of us. Kind of confused!
We have Princess Plus package. -
Very sad to hear this! I have been to Jamaica 15 times, twice by cruise.
I have always wanted to do the Martha Brae rafting trip. You are really making me doubt this excursion.
-
Thank you everyone. We booked the Palm dining room. We have easy access to the aft elevators from our cabin so decided to do that.
-
Thanks everyone!
We are on the Riviera deck so I will take a better look at the deck plan!
Very excited for this itinerary, that’s what got me to book!
-
This is probably a stupid question, but what is the difference between the 3 main dining rooms on the Caribbean Princess?
The reason I know it’s a stupid question is that I was a TA for 25 years but have only been on 2 cruises in that time. My last cruise was in 2017.
I am assuming (you know what happens when you assume😜) that the food is the same but the location and atmosphere are different? Or maybe not?
I am talking about the Palm, the Island and the Coral dining rooms.
Im sure this won’t be my last stupid question…😂
TIA!

I have the app on my phone. Should my husband have it too?

Merry Christmas!
We are doing this cruise in March so I am loving your “Live” reporting!- 1

Has anyone ever used Kevin Roberts?
We tried Lewis Foggo but he was already booked. He recommended his friend, Kevin Roberts.
-
If you mean Lewis Foggo
I've used him too and found him to be excellent even though what I wanted wasn't the usual island tour.
We have never been to Bermuda and are sailing in to Kings Wharf.
Can we contact this gentleman for Kings Wharf? I have seen his name a few times so I would prefer to use someone recommended, since we don't have much time in port!
-
We are cruising in 2 weeks.
Thanks for the info. I will check it out!
-
Due to many factors we chose RCCL Grandeur to Bermuda.
Time doesn't allow any full day excursions.
Have any of you booked a private driver from Kings Wharf?
There will be 6 of us and we want to make the most of the time there.
TIA

Hey folks. Are there any hotels that offer park and cruise packages with a pre-night?
I have never cruised out of Baltimore so looking for the most economical way to do this.
We are driving up from Myrtle Beach so will be staying the night before the cruise starts.
TIA
Which dock for Princess
in St. Thomas/St. John

Booked an excursion through third party.
How do I find out which dock Princess docks at?
Thanks!
