  3. Thank you for the review. I have enjoyed the reading wondering if there will be more. For my next cruise I have been torn between the Dream which will be sailing this same itinerary or the Conquest. I’ve been reading some not so flattering reports about the Conquest so I was hoping for some of your thoughts about the Conquest. Pro’s and Con’s. You also have me a little concerned about LaRommana, so I’ll have to do some more research on that stop. In the mean time what about if we just wanted to go to a beach for the day is there a beach anywhere near by. Thank you so much for your review.

  4. My DW and I along with my DB and DSIL are thinking about booking for next Sept., 2015. DSIL and DB are taking a cruise next month with their children. If they book a cruise for next year while on their cruise and receive a $200 OBC would they be able to book the same cruise for my DW and I with the same deal? I looked at Carnival’s web site and can’t find any answers. My next step is to call Carnival after I receive any answers here.

    Thanks again everyone

  6. I second the Luggie. I own a go go elite but it became to hard for me to lift parts of it even when taken apart. I too can’t walk distances or stand very long. I purchased the Luggie last year for my cruise and I couldn’t be happier with it. It so easy to fold and unfold. As said it fold up to about the size of a large suit case. Or you can fold flat to make it even easier to lift into a car or suv. It has a floor and reverse. I did buy an extra battier but haven’t need it yet but an glad I have it just incase.

I’m in the same boat LOL. April will be the first time I’ll need to bring a scooter on a cruise or any trip. I do have a go go Elite 4 wheeler. I have thought of bringing mine. But after much thought I decided to research a travel scooter. I had the Travelscoot in mind. But my DW with her infinite wisdom felt it looked just not comfortable and the foot pegs concerned her. She showed me one called the Luggie. It folds up to the size of a large suit case. I looked at it and just kept telling my DW no I didn’t like it. But I looked at it some more. Did a lot of research and the more I read the more I like it. I ordered it. It was shipped last Monday and arrived Friday. I’ve had a few days to play with it and I hate to say it but she was right, AGAIN. God I hate what she is right, and she is aways right. After 33 years I haven’t learned to just give in right away and say yes dear. Because I know she will ultimately be right.

So I vote take your own. You may need one at home in the future and you’ll have one.

  8. Owners of the Travel Scoot. Please talk me into or out of buying a Travel Scoot. I’m looking for information, both pro and con. My DW doesn’t think it looks very comfortable and we are both not sure it’s worth the cost if I didn’t use it very much because of it's small size. I do have a GoGo Elite which is getting harder to get out of the back of our Subaru Forest. The battery alone is as heavy as the whole Travel Scoot. I have been using it a lot more often lately. I also have been thinking about taking it next year for the first time on my next cruise because my legs are getting much worst when it comes to standing, walking and real painful trying to stand. I’m just very leery of letting the airlines handle it. Any and all information you can share will be very helpful.

    Thanks in advance.
