Thanks Cynthia,
The problem is we are with a tour company with included air, so no free days to do it on our own. Either we go with their extension or go home from Tel Aviv. I know last year it was $500pp less and its the same tour, so i think it is too much and we will skip it. It went up $100pp per day for ?nothing? Can put the $3800 towards another trip.

Hi
We are taking a land tour to Israel for 14 days. The are offering an extension to Petra and Amman for $1799pp for 5 days flying home from Amman instead of Tel
Aviv. We have been to Cairo for a 2day ship tour but didn't do Luxor so we are wondering if we should miss Petra this time as we will probably never be back in that region again. It is kind of pricey and still have to add Some meals. What do you think, is it worth so much extra money. We are leaving April 27.
Thank you for your input.

We were on the Brilliance of the Seas nov 18 and used Ramses Tours for our overnight tour. My husband wore a money belt, there was no hasseling or any fear whatsoever..don't worry about it. I also carried cash and a credit card in my purse and never felt I had to be overly protective of it. I highly recommend Ramses tours..They promised us the tour of a lifetime and they certainly came thru. We 2 couples enjoyed our two days thoroughly and didn't want it to end. Don't hestitate to use Ramses tours they answered all our questions in a timely manner and let us plan our days,,.we then let our guide Karim arrange the order of our sightseeing and with the help of an excellent driver who kept us safe also, we managed to see everything we planned to see and much much more. We have 1100 magnificient pictures to remember our wonderful cruise.

I have had no problems getting replys from both Ramses and Nile Blue
Ramses is offering a few extras over nile blue so i am leaning to them.
we are going i nov.also. otherwise both have been recommended and both are showing us the same things.

We did the Infinity in Feb-March 2004 and went to Punta Tomba with Port Compass. It was the highlite of the cruise..so many and so close. We missed the Falklands and Ecuador due to the engine problems. We did go to Puerto Arenas and it was very cold and windy there and not many penquins left. Going again in 2009 and will go to Punta Tomba again really enjoyed that tour. In Uruguay we did the Day at the Estancia with the ship and it was a wonderful day and worth the price.

Hi
Just got off Costa Med yesterday and parked at the park and fly..the pier garage is $84 per week and park and fly is $52 per week but if you give them the Costa voucher it is $45.
We didn't make a reservation so got there at 10:30 then had to wait until 11:30 for the shuttles to pick us up and take us to the ship as they were only emptying the ship and going to the airport..aited 1/2 hour to 45 min in line at the ship to board. Getting off yesterday the shuttle was right there and we got on early and were out of the lot by 9:30am.
The parking garage gives you more freedom to board and leave when you want but the lot is fine if you time it right.
