I enjoy history and seeing all the different cultures and have done the Mediterranean a few times.  My favorite ports are Livorno for Florence, Civitavecchia for Rome, Naples, Athens and the Greek Islands and Istanbul. I have been on all the major cruise lines and have never had a bad cruise.   If you have any specific questions, ask away.

I've been searching the Celebrity Infinity 10/2 Sailing and can't seem to find a roll call for this cruise, so I'm starting one. My adult daughter and I are on this cruise and am wondering if anyone out there knows of a good hotel in Barcelona for the pre cruise.

Haven't been to St. Kitts; which island would you say it resembles? I've been to Puerto Rico, Nassau, Freehold, St. Thomas, Curacao and Aruba. Is St. Kitts a do not miss Island?

HI,

I'm on the 7/1 sailing from Amsterdam. I'm a terrible sleeper so I booked an inside cabin #1144 on the 10th deck. When I look at the ship's schematic I see a white space above my cabin. Would you be so kind as to see what that white space is being used as? Or, if you have the time, can you ask the people in 1144 if it's a quite cabin? I appreciate any info. you can obtain as my Dec. cruise had a white space next to me and I was promised that it didn't have anything "noisy" in it. Well, that wasn't so. Every morning promptly at 7:30 AM it sounded like a train was going through my cabin for about 10 seconds. Needless to say, I woke up early and was exhausted during the day.

Has anyone else had a good tour guide in Bangkok?

I have several people from our Dec. roll call of Asia and we are looking for a reputable tour guide to pick us up at the ship, give us a full guided tour of Bangkok and then drop us off at a hotel of our choice, pick us up the next day and give us a guided tour of Ayutthaya and bring us back to the ship. Glad to hear that you had a good time at Junkanoo beach and thank you for the info. Can you tell me if the water was warm enough to swim in without a wet suit?

Thank you so much for your info. I will take a look at a map and see which works best for us if we decide to go the public beach route.

I'm still waiting for 2 dive companies to get back to me, one of them looks like they will pick us up at the port and the other, I'm not so sure.

WOW, Thank you so much for your very detailed and easy to follow directions.

Many years ago when I was in Curacao my friend's husband worked for the Hilton Hotel and I went scuba diving right near the hotel. The diving was fantastic with lots of tropical colored fish swimming by and I believe there were sea urchens on some coral. Can you tell me if that hotel is still there?

Which beach would you recommend if we want to snorkel on our own?

Once I figured out which beach we will snorkel at would you be able to give me the name of the bus company so I can check out their schedule?
