Doesn't seem to have Ocean Plaza on Deck 5.

Plus the buffet setup is not as nice as The Sunshine which has separate stations. This looks like the same tedious lines they always had.

We loved The Sunshine, not sure about The Sunrise

Also disappointed that they couldn't do something with that buffet set up. Not good.

Plus Ocean Plaza would have been nice on deck 5. We loved the new Sunshine, not so sure about this one.

Unless I missed it, I don't see any mention of the buffet being improved.

Sunshine has different stations for salad, etc. but if I remember correctly Triumph had one long line that took forever to get to the hot selections.

Anyone know if there will be any changes to the buffet set up? Thanks

Thanks for the reply, but I would feel silly with a tray of food on the elevator.

I guess I will go down the stairs, or DH will come up. We'll make it work.

Enjoyed reading your review. I have a question about the Italian restaurant for lunch.

I notice it's up a flight of stairs. How does that work? If I want it and my DH doesn't, can I go up, get it, and then bring it down to the Lido deck?

I'm even concerned about carrying it down. The stairs look pretty steep. Thanks for any info on this.

What about the tables for 2 along the railing on the second floor.

We"re usually not even hungry because of all the food on the ship.

Frog and Onion is showing $12.00 for cocktails. That's high even for NY.

I know that's probably the norm for Bermuda, just not sure I want to pay it.

We had lunch at the Anchor Restaurant in the Dockyard and enjoyed it. We also got drinks at Frog & Onion.

May I ask, what were the price of the drinks in Frog & Onion?

Thanks everyone. I wasn't sure about just drinking since their web sites show people getting plates of food.

We didn't want to feel like we were taking up a table and not ordering enough.

Plenty of food on the ship, we surely don't need more.

Are there nice places to order a drink where you can sit outside in the Dockyard?

Outside of Snorkel Park. Or would they get mad if you don't order any food?

After walking around you can get quite a thirst, and it would be great just to sit and enjoy a drink or a beer.

Thank you again. After I posted I realized I would have to take the Blue Route.

Only problem is from what I'm seeing it only runs every 1 1/2 hours compared to the bus which is every 1/2 hour. I'm looking at Saturday.

Not sure what I'll do since we'll only be in Bermuda for 1 day. We have been to the beaches. Just wanted to see Hamilton again, but I guess that's too much to ask.

Was such a pleasure when the ships docked there. I know the Dockyard has a lot to offer now, but it's not Hamilton.

Yes. We always request a table for two, and have always gotten one. As far as specific tables or locations, nothing is guaranteed, but it never hurts to ask. It is fairly common for people to request specific waitstaff.

Is it possible to request a certain table on YTD?

Such as the tables for 2 on the upper deck of the new Horizon along the rail overlooking the lower deck?

We always tend to go early.

No more smoked salmon at the deli or breakfast buffet. Only place is MDR at brunch or breakfast.

Someone on Cruise Critic said they asked for a booth for 2 on the Sunshine and they were always able to get one.

So when we went, I did the same thing, and they never said no. Guess I can try it on the Horizon, and see what happens.

Of course, we eat early, so that might have had something to do with it.

We were able to have a booth for the 2 of us on the Sunshine.

Was wondering if this was possible on Vista since we are booked on the Horizon which is her sister ship.
