I went on the Mardi Gras before I went on a Vista class ship. I couldn’t help but feel it was Mardi Gras-lite the entire time I was on the Panorama. I know the Vista class came first but if I had to choose between the two I’d go with Mardi Gras.

Is anyone else having issues with the app crashing after you login? I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app three times now and it still crashes every time I’m logged in.

They didn't have any on the Mardi Gras 11-18 February sailing either, I was very disappointed
They didn't have any the week before as well.
The West Coast IPA on draft was way better than the cans. Also the brewery tour was real fun on the Mardi Gras.

I have to imagine and sure hope that with the retractable roof this ship will take the place of the Miracle itineraries out of San Francisco. I'd love to do a 10 or 11 day out of SF to Alaska on this ship.

Sooooo Many Sea Days 😞
they should break it up with more private island days
My entire family loves sea days. These itineraries look great to me.

can you please explain this? Our balcony with taxes and port charges were a little over $1000
10 day Alaska cruise with 4 in the cabin. Is that what you were asking to explain? It sounds like from another post that these charges will be refunded instead of applied to FCC. If I read that correctly. -

Your FCC will be based on your cruise rate only.
Thank you!

“FCC cannot be used for taxes, fees & port expenses”
This quote is from the fine print about FCC that I pulled from another thread. Does anyone know if Carnival is flexible with this? Taxes, fees etc. for our upcoming cruise were over $1000. I realize that will get added to the FCC if the cruise is cancelled, however that's a pretty big hit if we can't use it towards rebooking the cruise.

My wife and I sailed the Miracle out of Fort Lauderdale for my 40th. The Miracle was the first ship our kids sailed on with us out of Long Beach. I’m very excited to sail with my wife, kids and my parents out of SF next year on the Miracle.
Ive been on 4 different cruise lines and the Miracle is still one of my favorite ships.

Carnival did offer a craft beer on tap called the Thirsty Frog Red Ale. It is ok, but at least they are trying to offer something other the usual mass produced beers on tap.
Big craft beer bonus for me was that for this cruise they had two Sam Adams beers (the Lager and the Rebel IPA) and a Sierra Nevada beer.
Thank you for the great review. I was enjoying it very much and it got even better when I got to this part.
I was a bit bummed to see the absence of an IPA from one of the Carnival drinks menus I found online. I already preordered a 4 pack of the Sierra Nevada Pale Ale to be delivered to my cabin upon arrival for our upcoming Miracle cruise. My wife will only drink IPA these days so I was hoping for something she would enjoy.
What bars on the ship had the Sam Adams Rebel IPA?
BTW, it's my understanding that the Thirsty Frog Red Ale is brewed by Anheuser-Busch. So it's really just a "mass produced" beer disguised as a craft brew much like Blue Moon (Coors).
Again thank you for the great review.
