As a photographer, I always sail in aft staterooms for the full view that those on the sides of the ship cannot see unless they roam about the ship and compete for space at the railings. Aft balconies are also usable when the ship is moving because there is no wind. Room Service breakfast on your balcony in Alaska is a great way to start the day.

I am also a photographer and have booked an aft balcony for a southbound trip from Whittier to Vancouver. I am so excited for my June trip!

Can someone tell me how late you can board? I know we sail fairly late, and I would like to see a bit of San Juan before boarding.

So, I can't resist... how did you folks know the offending people were Puerto Rican? Did you ask for their papers?
