  1. I booked and fully paid for my Japanese cruise on Diamond Princess for end of May 2020. Due to the outbreak of coronvirus in January, I have requested cancellation (more than 90 days before the cruise). I understand that according to the contract, I will lose my deposit and cancellation fee also applies. To date, I still have not received refund for the rest of my cruise payment.

    I am aware that situation like this will cause cash-flow problem to Princess cruise, similar to banks when many customers close their accounts at once. Hope I will get my money back.

    Please be advised that Spectrum Of The Seas is set up with Cosmopolitan Dining. 

     

    Cosmopolitan dining takes place on deck 3 and deck 4 and there is an open seating policy  it is on a first come, first serve basis.

     

    Please talk to the Host once onboard to arrange your table.

  4. Just returned from P&O Britannia Norwegian cruise. Stayed in suite B523.

    Noisy suite with poor sound insulation. I could hear everything in the nextdoor suite, guests talking, laughing, walking on the wooden floor near the entrance of the suite, TV sound, toilet flushing, door closing. Also I could hear people walking and talking in the corridor.

    The suite also vibrates, even in port, more noticeable when lying in bed at night. I thought I was sleeping on a vibration bed.

    On a number of occasions, I could hear the air-conditioning, as well as high-pitched "wind" noise via the vent (located behind the wardrobe and fridge). Whenever there is sea movement, more noise from the ceiling, wall, cupboards etc.

    To sum up: just noisy

  5. I will be staying in a suite on Britannia. I don't plan to use the butler much, perhaps breakfast in suite for 2 days, already booked my excursions and specialty restaurants online. But still I would like to give gratuity to the butler. Will £50 for 7 nights be enough?

  6. I booked my cruise with my TA with offer of free signature beverage package included. When I logged into HA website to check in, I could not see this package shown.

    Is it supposed to be shown in my reservation page on HA website?

    How will staff onboard know that I have signature beverage package?

  7. I am going on a Caribbean cruise in March. It is for a sun/sea/sand holiday. That's why I don't want to pack a suit for the gala dinner.

    The cruise document advises jacket and tie for gentlemen.

    Is it ok to wear a nice collared shirt and trousers for the gala dinner in the restaurant?

    Do I need to pack a suit for formal night dining in the restaurant?

    Which nights are the formal dinners for a 7 nights' cruise?

  9. Just booked a cruise on Eurodam for 2017, told by TA that Explore4 benefits included (drinks package, Pinnacle grill dinner).

    When I logged onto my account in HAL webpage, I could not see Explore4 mentioned on my booking. If I want to pre-book a table for Pinnacle Grill, how do I apply my free dinner benefit?
