  1. Last time we were on Celebrity Edge, we were in the Retreat and they give you a $600 onboard credit.  We couldn't use it all but we were able to get a form from the Concierege (in the Retreat) and write down our Butler and Room Steward name and give the rest of the onboard credit directly to them towards their tip, in  addition to what we gave them in cash.  Does anyone know if this is still possible in the Retreat?

  2. Just got off Divinia in YC.  Ship is not sailing full on the 7 days.  There was 1100 on our cruise with 56 in YC.  TV's are all working now.  Snacks in mini fridge are free ONE time only, rest you have to pay.  Been that way for awhile now this year since we have been sailing MSC since first of year.  Food was very good in YC, especially the filet.  Maurizio, Matri'D in YC Restaurant is a great guy and will help you with wine selections if need be.  We had a great time in the YC.

  3. We are going on the Seashore in a couple of weeks.  We decided to buy the Triology Dining Package consisting of Butcher's Cut, Ocean Cay and Hola's.  We have eaten at Hola's before for the "All You Can Eat" for $17.99 for lunch special and enjoyed it very much.

Question - is the Triology dining package only to be used for dinner in Hola's?  For example, for Hola's can we use that part of our package for Hola's to have the lunch instead of dinner?  I know drinks are not included, but just want to know if you can use the Triology Package to have lunch at Hola's vs dinner.  Thanks

  4. I have tried searched the web, but cannot find a phone number to leave family to contact us on the ship if there is an emergency.  We are sailing on the MSC Seashore this weekend. Does anyone have this contact number?  While we have phones, we found our phones dont work very well at times on the ship and feel more comfortable having this as a back up phone number.  Thanks

  5. This will only be our 2nd time in the MSC Yacht Club.  The first was only a 4 day cruise.  We will be cruising 7 days on the Seashore.  I have a quick question regrding butler services.  Would we be able to give him my husbands sports coat just to be pressed?  Thank you so much.  Just have never used the butler for special requests and wanted to make sure this is something we could have done.

  6. We just got off the Meraviglia for a 4 day, had booked a YC,  and asked the  Concierge about people getting "free upgrades" without the bidding process (extra money) for the YC cause we were curious with everything we read, and conflicting yes and no.  He said "free upgrades" do NOT get the perks of the YC.  YC perks are for those who pay for the experience and not for the free upgrades.  Maybe it depends on the Concierge.  I saw a couple come into the YC in the late afternoon and the butler and Concierge went to them immediately, and escorted them out of the YC. Don't know if they happened to just follow someone in or if they were someone that had a "free upgrade".

    1. Thank you so much for the information.  We will go to Guest Services when we get on and register for our next back to back and testing.  I must not have had enough coffee when I read Celebrity's policy.  I saw Royal Caribbean "ship" and not the Royal Caribbean group..duh..the reason for my confusion.  Need that caffeine.
  7. In March we are doing a back to back on the Summit, a 2 day cruise, then a 5 day cruise.  I cannot really find anything about how Celebrity handles back to back cruisers.  WIll Celebrity give you an anitgen test before your back to back cruise OR will we have to get off the ship on the 2 dayer, find a pharmacy to do a anitigen test hopefully and then reboard for the 5 day?  Before I call Celebrity, just thought I would ask anyone if they had any recent experience with this.  Thanks.

  8. COVID is done in the basement of the new terminal where the baggage collection usually is..  They do not open the doors till 9:00 am for testing, give or take 5 to 10 minutes earlier.  It was a good process and alot of CVS people/tables set up.  After your test, they direct you to the chairs to sit and wait.  They have a large projection screen on the wall set up to look for your name/number that you passed.  Once  you pass your test, raise your hand when you see your name, they come to you to verify who you are, put a band on your wrist, then you go inside the terminal to check in/go thru security, etc. sit and wait till boarding.
