  1. Last time we cruised on carnival we had the cheers program. We would stop every night at the steakhouse bar on the way to the main dinning room and have a glass of champagne at the bar, then take a glass of wine to dinner with us. The wine selection is better. It was almost empty every night and we had a great time getting to know the bar tender, and now we didn't have to wait for our wine at dinner.

  2. Went on Sunshine last July with the cheers package. Every night before going to the main dinning room we would stop at the steakhouse bar and have a glass of champagne (i think was about $20 per glass) and then a glass of wine to bring with us to dinner so that we had our wine without having to wait for the main dinning room bar staff to come around. We were they only ones in the steakhouse bar most nights had a great time experience with the bartender.

  3. My first cruise was western caribbean out of Miami and did not experience any sea sickness. Second cruise was caribbean out of NYC and felt a little nausea on the second day, felt better on the third day once we left the Atlantic Ocean and was in the Caribbean. I had a glass of wine on the first night, I was not use to drinking at that point of my life and thought that I didn't feel good because of the wine. Third cruise was NYC to Canada and I was sick before dinner on the first night. I finally realized that I get sea sick and wear a scopolamine patch. A few cruises later I decided that I would try to go without the patch on my mediterranean cruise thinking that the water would be calmer, only to be sick on the third day during a snorkeling excursion. I now wear the patch the entire cruise.
