We have the all inclusive beverage package for our upcoming cruise. Does this include room service for beverages? Soda, cocktails, water, etc. Or do we need to go to a bar. What about water. Where would we get bottled water? Sorry if this has been asked before. Could not find when I did a search.

We did the 4 night Calif Coastal last year. We were offered the dinner on the first night. Either restaurant. One of my favorite suite perks is the beautiful fresh flower arrangement.

Thank you all for the wonderful info

When is the final payment due to Princess on a 4 night cruise?

I've been reluctant to post this for quite a while because I would hate to see what I'm about to tell you about be disrespected. But after as much research as I've been able to do with absolutely nothing found, I thought I'd put it out there and maybe someone has an answer. Last April when we stopped at Princess Cays on our cruise on the Star Princess, I decided to take a walk. We've visited PC a couple of times before, and I wanted to see what the beach was like to the south of the Princess area. I knew from previous visits that it was very rocky initially and that sandals were needed to get past the rocks - I'm sure this is why there were no footprints on the beach after I got past the rocks. I walked for about a half mile, then noticed a clearing in the bushes above the beach and what appeared to be the remains of a foundation of a house. And there were two other cement structures. When I walked up to them I realized they were graves! They are very crude, above the ground, with barely legible, crude round cement markers attached. Now here's what I would really like to know. The names on each were of women, one who died at about age 19 in late 1930's, the other who died at age 26 a couple of years later. The last names were not the same, but judging from how they were set at a certain angle very close to the edge of the beach, right next to each other, I had to conclude that they must have known each other and been buried that way in that location for reason. Other people had obviously discovered them, because a few shells and pieces of coral had been placed on the graves out of respect, I imagine. What could this mean? How did they die at such a young age, and why were they placed together in that spot? I tried to do as much research as possible about the history of Eluethera and discover anything about these women but came up totally empty. For what it's worth, if you zoom in on that end of Eluethera (Princess Cays) on Google Earth, you can make out the remains of a road and the clearing, but it appears to overgrown and not used. So...at the very least I think this has the makings of a good novel! In any case, if anyone reading this does make the walk down and find the graves, please be respectful. Any information anyone might have is appreciated.

Sorry couldn't read this. No paragraphs. Wish I could. Your replies look interesting

Guess princess doesn't want to be known as a "booze cruise" line.

I'm on the Golden in a few weeks. I purchased the unlimited beverage package already.
Are you on a 4 day? I had read somewhere that the program is not available on any 4 day cruises. Dang it
-
Dang it. We are on a four day. Guess it won't work for us
-
Thanks Pam. Just looked on the Princess site and Golden is included with the ships you named. Am I looking in the wrong place?
-
It's been a few months since I asked this question. Doing a 4 night on Golden in October. Any news on the beverage plan being offered by then?
-
I doubt that includes the wait/service staff.
Yes, it does include the wait service staff. Done that many times.

We received the free crown grill dinner on our 4 night out of LA - San Pedro. Pleasantly surprised

I'm confused. You posted this yesterday and said you sailed out June 18 this year. June 18 isn't here yet???
-
You are lucky. We are not. Not all dates have both cruise and crew.
If you go to flexible rates you can see that some dates have only the crew rate

We will be bringing 6 pack of water and 6 pack of soda in when boarding in long beach. All we can carry. Can we bring in more the next day in Catalina?

I agree..Wallmart is trying to improve everything and since moving from Oregon to Montana 7 years ago..well it is the best choice for many things..I do not consider myself 'trash' but an intelligent budget person and our Wallmart even has an independent gift store with many made only in Montana nice things, a great Optomitrist for those who can not afford an MD and cute frame selection..about as good of produce as any store here in winter, a picture taking place, a Mcdonalds..and a huge number of well stocked sections, food with local specialties, garden, camping, home goods, sewing and projects, TV and Camera, seasonal, drug store items clothes and pharmacy all at different price points...on and on. I buy my everyday things there and augment elsewhere and save a fortune now...most of the people i see there in the summer are hard working locals and the OPPOSITE of "trailer trash"..fancy Riggs loading up and spending a night as allowed before heading to parks.
I even found my mom's favorite fancy perfume there one Christmas..
Their after holiday card sales put about 40 in your pocket. I could go on and on..sweet people helping you check out..and a new one went into my middle upper area in Oregon I hear...and Carnival, like Wallmart is updating all the time..,with NICE budget choices and things..like always a good size standard cabin.
I can do 4 and 5 star things once in awhile thanks to Carnival and Wallmart..we who use them are not cheap nor uneducated and if/when I have more disposable income..it will go to investments and nice things and I will still enjoy my strolls through Wallmart..always think of mom saying hi from heaven in home and party decor...end of rant..thanks Marshhawk...and best service I had was Paradise!! I want to try fancier..but so glad Carnival is here and plenty good..even with some changes i am not fond of..life..economy..changes...we go with the flow and should strive to be aware and darn glad we are in this country, still with the most hope in a future, posting on boards like this..with so many good nice Wallmarts and Carnival ships...Sarah
Love your comments on Walmart. I am in Oregon and California and we have great fresh produce, employees with a smile and good prices. And I love Carnival, Princess, Regent and Seabourn

Is there a charge for the milk or chocolate milk?
-
I'll be PO'd because I clicked on a Hotel Maya ad and that's the rate they offered me. They didn't give me a choice depending on who I was. I'll be watching to see what happens to people staying earlier. If they don't honor the rate we'll cancel and book elsewhere.
It is a corporate code for carnival crew. Most anyone can get ahold of a corporate code. But to use it claiming you are Carnival crew would be fraudulent. The hotel is not doing anything wrong. We are for claiming we are crew
-
Thanks. Is everyone allowed? Wondering about our 16 and 18 year olds
-
Would love some info on serenity. Is there a charge? What is there, jacuzzis, in the sun or covered? Any info would be appreciated
-
No, sorry. Although I will keep checking. But we cruise June 9. So not much hope for us
-
Just got written confirmation from the hotel that code will not be honored without crew identification. Sounds pretty clear to me. I don't want to take a chance. Just canceled the code reservation and made a "real" one.
"That specific code is for crew members only and will require ID at check in, we have found that people have been using this code who are not crew members so we have tightened our check in process."
Room service and alcohol pacgage

Are the drinks from room service included on the alcohol package? Or do we need to go to the bar or IC for specialty coffees? I suspect not, but thought I would ask.
