Well, it has been interesting to hear everyone’s opinion on this topic. I only threw it out there since have not cruised in a long time and wanted to know if anything has changed. I have decided to pay based on how I am treated; I am not prepaying for services that I am not sure I will receive. Thank you all for chiming in 😊.

Hi - Are pre-paid gratuities worth it? Taking a 10 day cruise next year and cruise line is offering pre-paid gratuities in the amount of $153 per person. This is for the entire onboard crew. If I purchase this package, how will the crew know?

Hi Carol - We changed directions. We are now going from Athens to Venice and not until August 2025 and no longer on Azamara. Perhaps you can still give me some tips after you come back since we did book a 10 day intensive cruise. Would want to hear about all the “What not do”. Enjoy your trip!

My husband and I are in our 70’s and in good health however I have reservations about booking a 10 day intensive cruise to Spain. We will be on the Azamara Onward. Should I be concerned it is too much? Do not want to return home exhausted.
