It has been FedEx for us in the past. They do not shrink wrap and we lock

I requested the OBC Friday night by e-mail and had a confirming e-mail yesterday (Monday)

Arnold Donald has done a minimum of three tv interviews telling interviewers that Carnival has enough cash to last a no sail business until 2021. You just have to wait for the refund.
That’s the wrong attitude to have. One of the reasons Carnival has enough cash to last until 2021 is because they are pulling this kind of scam. And the OP (and all of us awaiting refunds) should not be forced into financing Carnival Corp., which is exactly what is happening.

No Physician in his right mind is going to guarantee in writing that anyone is fit to sail, or fit for any activity - no matter what their age. It may even be against HIPPA laws.
Not a HIPPA violation since you are consenting to the release of information- 3

This is being investigated as we speak by Transport Canada, the Canadian equivalent of the NTSB. When they conclude their investigation, they will then make a determination if both ships are structurally sound to sail. This doesn't appear to have resulted in any damage below the water line/puncturing of the hull and/or to the azi-pods. If that conclusion happens today, and chances are it will, both ships will sail
I’m guessing the classification society (Lloyd’s in HAL’s case?) may have to take a look before anyone goes anywhere.

When I have sent our passports away for visas, the wait has been days, not weeks. I’m not sure why you wouldn’t have your passports back by February.

You might want to get some bottled water to take on board too. We've stayed at the embassy suites on 17th street and there is super liquors withing walking distance or Winn Dixie that sells wines and water.
If you are checking a bag and have a favorite wine ( or not readily available at stores) to take from home I suggest "wine wings" carrier (search for on amazon).
If you want to avoid the corkage fee, I've opened a bottle in our room and pored into a tall glass and carried the glass into the dining room. Viola, no corkage fee.
Viola, you’re a cheater!

I hope it’s not the pastry chef!

Thanks :). I thought I heard it earlier and it was for the EE.
Doesn't sound good. Hope the crew member is ok.
We do too. No matter what the reason, it’s probably not a good thing

Captain just confirmed that there is a missing crew member

Look after her properly, BigGreenFan, we'll be expecting her to be looking good when you get back!:D
Packed my kid gloves!

On Prinsendam now. The sail away party has ended but we haven’t sailed away!

but you've got to have some means of communication with the ship, or better yet, with someone from that private tour company who is standing on the pier and who can relay pertinent info to the ship's crew at the gangway. When tours/pax are running late, it is imperative that the ship knows where the bus/van/boat is, and how long it will take them to get back to port.
Copper 10-8 - If I recall correctly, there is a phone number on our key cards. Is that the correct number to call to advise the ship if you’re having trouble getting back on time?
-
We are sailing on the Prinsendam from Ft. Lauderdale in March with departure listed as 8 pm. Will the lifeboat drill still be at about 3 pm?

It was just on the intranet when we logged on. If you can't find it I would check with a cast member. I verified that the feature was fleet wide as of a few weeks ago so you should be able to use it.
Cast member? Sounds like a Disney cruise. I didn’t see it on Zuiderdam last week
-
We did exactly as you described in Europe and we felt it was well worth it to get our luggage down to one manageable bag apiece.
-
Yes. We were on Koningsdam in May with two cabins and the steward opened the divider at our request

Did you read the thread title? It says: sets out their primary revenues and expenses
Yes, I did read the thread title. And I still don't know what the OP's point is. Steve Martin, where are you?
-
So what's your point?

There haven't been any blogs posted on the HAL website since the end of March so I'm guessing the technical issues persist.

First of all, you should definitely get Global Entry.
I believe there are two interview locations in Atlanta - one in the airport and one near the airport, off I-75. We went the the off airport location and it was deserted. If you had to use the walk-in option I think it would go very quickly.
Do any HAL excursions allow you to step foot on Antarctica?

I don’t think so. We did it on a Nat Geo (Lindblad) ship and as I recall, only 50 passengers were allowed at a time. We landed by inflatable boats and it was all pretty tightly controlled.
