$32/pp would be expensive for my family of six! It would be cheaper to hire a private limo/SUV, which is what we are doing after our RCI cruise next week.
I would like to know how this worked out for you and which company? We also have a party of 6 and are looking at options. Thanks!

We are a group of 9 looking at flights coming into FLL midmorning on Sat in May and departing POM at 4. What would be the best options for Transportation? Taxi vs. shuttle vs. rental car costs? Also wondering if a 12p.m. return flight is possible with ship docking POM at 9? Thanks for any info!

I am wondering if you can take port wine onto the cruise since it is a fortified wine. Has anyone tried this in place of their bottle of wine allowed?
I have purchased a bottle of port to take on our upcoming cruise, never gave it any thought, so I'm curious now to know if there is any restriction on it? Hope someone knows the answer to this!

It's really a tough question without knowing the child. For example, we've taken outgoing, animal-loving 2yo risk-takers out to Stingray City and they've loved it. However, we've also seen kids (of all ages) there, screaming and trying to climb up mom or dad to escape from the scary things in the water. :-)
What does your child like to do? Brave or timid? Animal-lover? Water Baby? Outdoorsy or prefers the indoors?
The only thing I can suggest without more info is for you to read some of the threads here, read some trip reviews other places online, then decide if that's something your child would like to do.
Thanks for the reply. We were actually considering the stingray/turtle swim but weren't sure if they would actually allow an almost 3 yr old in the water with the stingrays? She is very outdoorsy and loves water, the beach, and the aquarium! We're also concerned about transportation and needing a car seat or booster for her. Any suggestions would be appreciated. :D

Sorry about intruding, but I am curious about selecting a check-in time? I have never had to do this before. We always just went through no problem. Is this something new or only certain ports? Are they very strict about it? What if you are early or late?

Do LOTS of homework on better bidding dot com before trying Priceline in Miami - there are some neighborhoods/areas you do not want to stay in.
If you are on a budget the La Quinta East is probably your best bet - airport and port shuttles are included as is breakfast. Not close to any dining or shopping, but for one night of sleep pre-cruise after a late arrival it fits the bill.
I am also looking at hotels for early March, what areas do I want to avoid? I am considering Brickell, blue lagoon, Dania?

We will be a group of 8 adults and a 2 yr old, just wondering if there is anything they can participate in with the 2 yr old as far as shore excursions, or should we just wander on our own?

We will be on this one as well, I am looking forward to this port. Hoping it does not get dropped.
