  1. We are planning a cruise to Alaska in June of 2015. I am currently booked on Disney because of the children's amenities and we are possibly bringing my granddaughter. But more importantly is since this will be our first Alaskan cruise I want this to be memorable and awesome. I am not a cold weather person so this cruise needs to make me enjoy despite the lack of Caribbean water and sun....lol. What cruise-line is the best cruise-line to use for an Alaskan cruise. I also would like to do the Denali pass by train so please offer me all the opinions to help me make my final decision. Thank you in advance. I love cruise critic readers because they are so knowledgeable.

  2. I called my TA and they said, "well I don't know what happened to the documents, they were sent out on the 3rd of July" Ok, now I don't have the docs and they are telling me I can do it on DCL website as they now have online documents. I follow what she told me, and I still don't see the documents. So I either call screaming at them, or just go with the flow and print out the signature documents and get my tags at the port. I'm just upset as I wish I could leave with my mind at ease. I just hope I don't run into problems at the port. I'm coming in the night before, staying at the hyatt grand cypress and getting to the port by rental car. I will be so stressed now!

Please make sure you take your original birth certificates or passports or they won't let you on the ship. If you are using birth certificates make sure you have photo ID also. Other than that everything else can be done when you get to FL at the airport or the cruise port. Also, call DCL and explain what has happened and what your TA said...they will be happy to help you.

  3. Of course the cruise is the better deal and value but the reason is It will be more enjoyable for your kids. Disney world is great but when they are that young the rides can be tiring and overwhelming...not to mention the long lines to see the characters. ON the ship there is so much for the kids to do and it is geared towards their specific ages. The lines are short to meet the characters in comparison to the lines at the parks. The food is included and the Disney private Island experience is so much fun. That is just my opinion and I have been on about 10 Disney cruises now and have taken all my grand kids.

  4. I too have had to do the compassionate thing for my precious Sandy. She too was very old and in the process of dying and so to ease her suffering we had to unselfishly let her go and help her die with grace. At least she as well as your precious pet is no longer suffering. You did a very hard but kind thing and I am sure your little one was very grateful. MY thoughts and sympathy is with you.

  5. Your pictures and descriptions are awesome. I am a fan of your reviews. (all of them) Look forward to more. It is bringing back wonderful memories of my cruise. Plus I never saw the couples area and will have to book that on my next Disney cruise. Disney and RC are my two favorite lines so far. I thought Celebrity was boring and Carnival did not have the class of these two lines.

  6. We are so excited about trying the Disney product! A little less than a week to go, yayyyyy :D. The only thing that I am not crazy about is that it is such a short cruise, but I guess it is better than no cruise at all.

As far as the rough seas comment, well it is something that gets talked about often. I can see how some people will be deterred by that aspect of the cruise.

I absolutely love Disney cruise line. We have been 4 times now 3 on the Wonder and once on The Dream. They really know how to make a cruise enjoyable and the shows are truly incredible
