  1. My concern is everyone is going to have so much obc that I'm not going to be able to get a reservation in the steakhouse or be able to book an excursion. Good problem to have. I want to turn that obc to cash to spend on some stuff in cozumel. And maybe use to pay for another vacation ( I'm thinking Hawaii). I want to take full advantage.

  2. My june 21 cruise on the Freedom out of Galveston was canceled. I paid 2500 for a balcony. I rebooked on the Vista for the 27th for 1700 for a spa deck balcony. Plus I applied for their credit card for 200 off of that. So, I get the 600 obc plus the difference of the 2500? Will that go back on my credit or will I get more fcc?

  3. My cruise is on the Liberty out of Galveston on June 21st. I booked through *****.com and saw today my cruise for $1000 less now than what I paid. I emailed the agent and haven't heard back yet. Can I expect anything from this? I realize the chances of taking this cruise are slim but these prices are great. What's the old saying, too good to be true?

    Peace and stay well.

  4. I've always used one of the plastic cases with a rope on it that they sell on the ships. It's big enough for a wallet. I put it around my neck when snorkeling. Never had a problem, stays watertight. It was a hard plastic case. I see a few other options on amazon. They make a lot of stuff that is even good for phones.

Ha here we go, thanks for the info. Thats what I need to get. Going to amazon now.

  5. We do. We put them in a ziplock bag and then into a money belt that my husband wears around his waist under his swim shorts. (In regular touring, we both wear a money belt under our pants, but I don't swim in one.) On our last trip, the bag leaked and the passports got soaked- they are now very distorted from the dip, but customs didn't seem to bat an eye at that.

I've heard lots of people say they leave them on the ship, and that baffles me. The entire arguement to having one is to facilitate flying home if you miss the ship. What good is it if the passport is on the ship?

Is there some kind of money belt/carrier that will stay secure and waterproof while I'm snorkeling? If I can keep my stuff with me I'll feel more secure, rather than renting a locker.

  6. This will be our first cruise passports. I paid the money for them they are coming with me....not much use to me sitting on the ship if I have a rare emergency while on foreign soil. Copies will be on the ship if lost or stolen.

You say copies. You just scan the main page of the passport? Thanks
