  1. As you can see from the varied responses there still seems to be some discrepancies. Some say no way and others say just pay the difference. I think I am doing my due diligence to get the correct information but MSC continues to be a "different answer" depending on who you ask. Sorry if I inconvenienced anyone.

  2. We have the Aurea experience that comes with the unlimited drink package. I see that package listed for $31 per day, I want to upgrade to the premium package that includes premium liquor and bottled beer, I see that package listed at $53 per day. I called my travel agent who said I already had unlimited drinks and wasn't understanding and then she reached out to her MSC representative and they told her it wasn't an option and that the ship was full so I couldn't upgrade to Yacht Club and that I would just have to pay for my premium drinks? Can you really not pay the difference of $22 per day and get what you want? Seems that anyone can purchase that package for $53 per day? Is this misinformation or can you really not upgrade your drink package?

  3. First European cruise, for charging phones and iPads do I need to purchase a travel adapter for the cabin? Not sure how the electrical is set up. This would be on the Meraveglia.

    Thanks

  4. New to MSC and will be sailing the Meraviglia in a Balcony, Aurea Experience in October out of Naples. Was wondering if someone could explain the drinks package. What will be included and what can I expect to not be included. It states - Unlimited drinks included (Allegrissimo! package). Read where you can't use certain packages in restaurants and other conflicting information, something about upgrading? Is there a better package I could upgrade to that would give me more options? Thanks

  5. I'm not talking about the Premier Cruises, limited sailings... I was on a Premier sailing and got an offer the last night to book for a % off and receive some casino cash, I thought this was a different offer and just on any cruise that I picked as long as it was booked within 14 days?? Maybe I am wrong? What I thought I was told was he could see my offer from the letter from my Liberty cruise (which went unused) but had to research why the one from the Glory cruise wasn't showing up, supposedly found it and asked for my PVP's name and filled out a form?

  6. Does anyone have the letter you get the last night or next to last night with the % off a future cruise and $xx amount of Casino cash. I know you have to book within 14 days, my letter got misplaced and my PVP couldn't "find" the offer for me, I booked but then called Players Club, they could see my offer from my spring cruise but didn't see the one from the summer cruise, after checking into they said I was eligible and filled out a form for me and said it would take 24-48 hours to show up, well it's been a week and nothing... Just wondering if there were other stipulations that could be causing the form to reject, want to know exactly what the letter states before calling again....

    Thanks

  7. Sailing on the Glory on 8/16... OS 3 people, had a rate of $876 per person, Full deposits and payment due at 75 days out, which was yesterday... There was also a rate of $896 which would have price protected me until 30 days out... PVP convinced me to keep the lower rate, "why gamble and hope the cruise comes down $60"... Long story short, make final payment yesterday and today the Premier Casino rate comes up at $799??? Is it worth it to call and see if the will do anything 74 days out?
