We booked this cruise last April & the current price for the same category is 4 times what we paid. The prices have been what they currently are for a few months now. My guess is that as cruises have been cancelled over the past year or so, a lot of people rebooked to this cruise. Great itinerary including Iceland. I think NCL likely didn’t want to completely book it fully in case ships weren’t allowed to sail full by then so they put ridiculously high rates in place to discourage new bookings for a while. Obviously if anyone actually wanted to pay these rates they would take their money. I’m just guessing though . . .
