How about 8604?
-
Any way to find out about a particular cabin? I have googled and looked at a variety of websites, but they seem to just have the generic balcony pictures. I've also tried some video reviews, but can't find any of the cabins I am looking at. I've also read some reviews, but they don't mention where the bed is.
Is there any method to the madness or any particular formula? (Oasis, if that makes a difference)
Thanks!

I'm D+ and got 3 as advertised. I was thrilled lol. Left them as I dont like plain bottled water.
Oops! Didn't notice the numbers. Thanks.
What size are they?

Anyone know what/how many waters they are giving for the recently (back in March, I think) updated welcome beverage?
Thanks.

It has been a long time (too long!) since our last cruise, so wondering what they are providing these days for toiletries. We will be in a crown loft, if that makes a difference.
Thanks!

Yes, I am booked in December. Yes, I am going to affected islands and Yes, I think it is a good idea. Most of these islands earn the majority of their money from tourism and they need the ships back (since many of the hotels will take much longer to fix).

We were not able to book online for Oasis this past December. We requested it through the concierge.

Not cheap, but Happy Limo provides great service. We have used them several times.
-
We are currently on Oasis and Luggage Valet is offered.

Can you make reservations prior to the cruise for CK?
And if anyone has recent menus, I would love to see them.
Thanks!

Does anyone have the current CK menus for Oasis? I did some searching but couldn't find anything recent.
Thanks in advance!

We like to have small bills for the room service waiters too.
-
It doesn't show up on the cruise planner though, so how can I book it online?

Can you make reservations for CK prior to boarding? Also, any recent menus available ( I saw on a thread that CK now has a different menu each night). We will be on Oasis if that makes a difference.
Thanks.

Though there are indeed ramps and elevators, it is a large terminal and a very long walk.
We had someone near us when getting off who said that she wished she had gotten a wheelchair assist (she was using a cane and was having a tough time).

On our last several Freedom cruises (most recently in December), breakfast with a menu and a mini buffet (fruit, cheeses, yogurt, pastries, cereal) was offered in Chops.
I think lunch was sometimes offered in Chops also, but only for seating (get your food from Windjammer).

Love the grilled tomatoes and usually order extras.

We just got off Freedom on 12/20 after two weeks in a GS. The mattress was indeed VERY firm.
I do like a firm mattress (my husband not so much), but even he slept much better than we did on the previous (softer) mattresses and I slept like the proverbial baby on this firmer one.
Obviously everyone has different preferences and results.

We just got off two weeks on Freedom and we had movies several nights on the big screen. We also had Sunday night, Monday night and Thursday night NFL games and Saturday night college football, though sports will obviously vary by season.

Just got off of two weeks on the Freedom and yes indeed the mattresses are VERY firm.
I loved it (I slept much better than last year when I would wake up with hip and leg pains) and slept really well. My husband thought it was too firm, but he also slept better than last year.

Have really enjoyed your live posts in the past and am looking forward to this one!

I thought this sentence from the article was interesting -
"The door to the balcony was open, Winkleman said, "and [bernardo] falls over into the life boat."
That makes it seem as if he just simply fell (because the door was open) and we all know it doesn't work that way.

Just go to guest services and get the remainder/left over in cash. I have done this several times with no problem.

That's great :)
Did those stairs trouble you in the Crown Loft Suite?

DH and I love the crown loft (at least on Oasis, haven't been in one on another ship). We don't love the stairs (I have trouble getting up and down stairs though these have a nice railing), but find the overall cabin to be worth it.
We unpack downstairs, using the closet there and bring stuff upstairs as we need it.
