  1. I stayed at Hotel Mediterraneo in October 2022. It is right on the seafront, walking distance to the train and the port. It is not fancy, but clean and good service, and very nice buffet breakfast. It has an elevator. Request a room with view of the sea.
I would stay there again. Cheers, Annabelle

Actually it was not.  I am still respective of the office and my email was polite and respectful.  The answer I received was in kind, polite and respectful and instructed me that for details I should inquire to the Minister of Health.  Again, a polite inquiry was ignored.

Just because I believe the man to be a cheat and crook, it doesn't mean I don't respect the elected office he holds.

Excuse me, but such political comments are inappropriate, and I believe contrary to the guidelines of cruise critic. Your opinions of our Prime Minister do not belong here, and as cruise critic forums are read internationally, you are an embarrassment.

I agree that travel isn’t a priority. Clearly, as they kept the border pretty wide open and if you had the money/time off you could come and go as you pleased.

I guess it’s how you look at it. They got a huge shipment of moderna that they wanted to use up before it expired….they took a chance that it wouldn’t cause any problems. If they were only concerned about the number of ppl in the shortest timeframe they would have kept it all in T.O and not spread it around the lightest hit areas.

Just my opinion but after all this anything that comes out of Trudeau’s mouth I have to question.

I must object to this post. Firstly, I believe the policy on cruise critic is to avoid inflammatory political statements.
Secondly, it is Trudeau’s government that procured vaccines and through its distribution, today across Canada, there are 81.28% of 12+ with one dose, and 67.58% of 12+ people fully vaccinated. Enough said.

  4. I find the the tomato-based Bloody Mary mix goes well with Tequila. The fake orange juice is good enough to disguise the taste of the fake champagne given as a Concierge Class perk. I've never found anything that mixes well with Prune Juice and I would think that a complementary Bloody Mary/Maria or Mimosa would serve to quell any rebellion. Just a thought...

Mix vodka with prune juice...we call it a Vodka Flush !! :D

  5. Taken from https://www.ncl.com/faq#can-i-bring-water-or-soda-board

Yes, guests may bring sealed bottles of wine on board for personal consumption. They will be checked prior to embarkation and a corkage fee applied at that time of $15.00 USD for a 750 ml Bottle or $30.00 USD for a 1,500 ml Magnum bottle. Box wines are not allowed on board. If guests do not wish to pay the corkage fee, the wine will be held onboard and returned to the guests at the end of the cruise.

If you purchase any alcohol at one of our ports-of-call or in our onboard shops, we will safely store your purchase and either on the final night of the cruise or the morning of debarkation it will be available for pick up in a designated area.

Thanks for the info....dumb rules! Lucky I have the beverage package, without it I would not cruise NCL ! Annabelle

  6. We have just done the TA on Inde we combined our D+ internet packages to one device and my wife had 6 days of free basic internal, by basic I mean that she could connect to her Township game, check e-mails and surf the net for news. When she was not using it I was able to check e-mails and the news and sports results on a different device. So by using one user name and password you are able to use different device but not at the same time.

    Hello,

You mentioned D+ internet packages. Are there any for Diamond level, and if so what?

    Thanks!

  7. Now that I think about it, I never did get a confirmation when I registered on their site for the free walking tour. I emailed them to ask about other tour options as the website indicated that they also had private tours, but ultimately decided to go with the free group tour. They replied to my emails about the private tour, but not to the registration for the free tour. It was pretty casual when we arrived for the tour... there were people there who had only signed up that morning, and it seemed like people wondered into our group when they saw we were on a free tour (as in they joined us even without pre-registering). Just show up at the Naval Museum at the right time and you'll be fine :)

Hi, Thanks for your responses. I did receive an email confirmation from them.

More questions: After the tour, did you take a taxi back to the ship, and if so where did you find the taxi? If not, what did you do? Also, where does the tour finish?

Thanks so much for your help, Annabelle :)

  8. When you send laundry down, you have to fill out a form. When filling out the information you will included your name, cabin number and Folio Number, which is located on your SeaPass Card.

Same with the Internet. When creating an account you must include your Folio Number also.

Every On Board Offer is identified by your Folio Number, and you each have a different Folio Number so make sure that you don't use the same Folio Number twice.

    Thanks...now I understand!!!!:)
