Why does assigned seating take longer than YTD? Seems like with YTD you are in and out within the hour.

There is a way for you to eat together, just not in the MDRs. Just meet up on Lido.

 

We always do YTD on the Dream and generally show up at 5:45 when the doors open. There is, of course, a line but it moves rapidly.

After the 5:45 rush, can you still get in if you go around 6:30 or later. Or do you have to wait sometimes? Or does it fill up most of the time at 5:45?

We have 10 people (3 families) going on New Year's cruise on the Dream. Two families booked Early Seating and one did Your Time Dining. Is there any way for us to eat together sometimes?

If we are late to Early Seating, can we go to Your Time Dining? Or do you have to stay in your Dining Rooms assigned?

Our last 2 cruises, we have done the Early Seating (not on the Dream - smaller ships). Seems like you had to get there really early because there was always a big line to get in. So this time we thought we would do the Early Seating instead. For those of you that have done Anytime Dining on the Dream, was there usually a line?

If you do Early or Late Seating, does your meal time take longer than Anytime Dining?

We love Tabyana Beach. We have been twice with our kids through Carnival excursion. Beautiful Beach!

We love Tabayana Beach. Twice we have done this excursion through Carnival. Beautiful Beach!!! They also have food and drinks you can buy. And they have a gift shop. Plenty of shade also if you want it.

We then headed to comedy show and it was good from what I remember! Afterwards we called it a night. We had an early day for Cozumel and our first excursion!

Dream has a comedy show? I didn't see a comedy club listed under the Dream?

Did you do any excursions in Mahogany Bay? We are sailing in 15 days and cannot decide what to do there. TIA

We just got off the ship last week. We went to Tabayana Beach. That was our second time there and we love it!! Beautiful beach!! Snorkeling is great and they have other things to rent also (kayak, bounce slide for kids, etc.) Can also parasail or go out fishing. They also have a restaurant and bar.

She will have a great time! We just got off a cruise on the Valor. My son is 8. He loved camp and never wanted to leave. He made lots of friends!

Try the Mocha Chocolate Getaway and the Pomegranate Martini. Of course you can't go wrong with a Miami Vice with a floater.

What do you consider a kids option? They usually like stuff from the grill, not the buffet.

I forgot about the Grill. That is near the pool correct? Are they open all day?

Does anyone have the Fun Times for Camp Carnival or Circle C for a 7 day cruise? My kids are 8 and 12. They are very excited to see what is in store for them for our June cruise. :)

Thanks everyone! We decided to take the offer! So now we are on Panorama! I am excited!!! Will be nice to be close to the Lido deck. Kids will love being close to the pool!

I got the same offer yesterday. We had guarantee balcony with no room assignment yet. I went ahead and took the offer and we are staying on the Panorama deck. I hope I like it!

Looks like the room we would get on the Panorama deck is on the other side of the elevators. Looks like there are rooms above and below it so that would be good. And it is almost midship (by waterslide).

My main concern is the room we have now on 6. Can you hear casino noise if you are above it? What about smoke smell? And will we have a good view or will lifeboats be below us?

I was wondering about this also. I read on another thread that you can put a limit on the child's card per day so they only spend that much. I am curious if they don't spend that money one day, does it roll over to the next day?

Just got an offer from Carnival to upgrade to a higher deck for $40. We have a balcony on Valor. We are currently booked on deck 6 upper. Will the lifeboats be obstructing our view (looking down)? The casino is below us so not sure how loud that might be. Thinking about upgrading to deck 10 Panorama. Thoughts?
