  1. I work for Disney and I agree with kccrzr's suggestion. Depending on where you are from if this is a once in a while trip, I would hit the highlights and they have outlined a fantastic day. Yes, it will be more to add on park hoppers and yes it will be a busy day, but I think you know this already! The key is the advanced reservations for fast passes at MK and dining at Epcot. If you purchase your tickets in advance you can do all of these things online or in the my Disney exp app. Have a great time!

  2. On our Alaska cruise in May I was forced to run on the treadmill because I could not handle the cold wind on deck. Running on the treadmill turned out to be ok when I saw a pod of whales jumping out of the water - definitely gave me something fantastic to look at.

We will be on Freedom in November. Can't decide treadmill or track. I am not a big fan of running in circles or on a treadmill, but it has got to be done!

Bill - congrats on your weight loss! I am down 57 due to running as well!

  3. Keggy and Tuflife42 - We are also on the August 30 sailing. We were on this ship in April - 12 and 29 sailings. It was a great ship. Captain Charles should be back in time for our cuise. We are really anxious for this cruise. Did you sign up for the Meet and Mingle? Any questions we can answer?

Hi Bev! We are signed up for the meet and mingle and the roll call! Can't wait!!!

    Thank you!

  4. We are sailing on the Liberty in November (Thanksgiving week). We are really hoping the kids can enjoy the flowrider and H2O Zone. Has anyone tried this in the fall? I have read that the pools are cold in January...how about November? I just want to prepare my kids if it going to be cool. We are from Houston so used to warm weather :) Thanks!

We sailed the Mariner the week before Christmas last year. It was HOT on the islands that we visited (Western). We found the water in the pools a little cold to swim in but we laid by the pool a couple of times. Keep in mind that I am from Florida though, so what I think is cold depends!

  5. thank you! but, is that just adding the number of outlets or is the actual outlet in the room diffrent from normal outlets on land? because i have heard rumors of that. (i know this is a very small issue, but when you have two 17 year old girls staying in one room who need curling irons and hair straighteners AND chargers for ipods/cell-phones/who knows what else...its not.) so thank you for your patience! haha.

The outlets in the main area of your room oare the same. If I am remembering correctly there were two plugs to the left of the mirror and one to the right. The plug that is different is in the bathroom. It accomodates a razor. So a power strip from home will work in the bedroom!

  6. lephysteria - I just wanted to thank you for such a wonderful trip report. It was so informative and helpful! We are thinking of staying at the Hyatt Regency the night before the cruise. I would like to rent a car and drive down so that I don't have to pay for parking at the port but I am having the hardest time trying to do a one way rental with enterprise!!

    Thanks again!

  7. what exactly is a polarized adapter? is that different from like, a powerstrip?

I think this is a polarized adaptor. This is also what I took as well. We have one that we use at our house for our cell phones. I like using this over a power strip so that you don't have the bulk of the cord taking up space on the desk.
