  1. I have an odd question. My boss has sailed carnival & said they have laundry facilities on every floor of carnivals ships. Does Royal Caribbean Liberty of the seas have one? I know they have dry cleaning, laundry service, etc. just curious, I just don't like my clothes to be dried in a dryer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

    (sailing 24-31 dec 2017)

  2. I remember back in Nov. 2014, we were on the Navigator of the Seas out of Galveston, TX, and the ship was delayed 3 hrs. We had reservations at Sabor that 1st night, as we do this time, I did NOT get the "wonderful" (special) margarita because we were still in port. I sure hope that doesn't happen this time. Don't get me wrong, I was able to get other drinks, but not that mouth watering Margarita from SABOR's.

Thanks for the info, looking forward to the this trip.:)

  3. Good evening,

I have cruised once, on the NOS back in Nov. 2014. I know the alcohol drinks (beverages) :) are limited

once you board, in Galveston, TX on the LOS, but would anyone happen to have a pic or list of these drinks. I have the deluxe drink package, but just didn't know what was available. I've searched, but unsuccessfully. Thanks for any assistance anyone may have.

Our trip is 24-31 Dec 2017 (a get away much needed vacation).

  4. I've purchased the VOOM with my beverage package on LOS @ 24-31 Dec & was wondering. Will I be charged by ATT (my own personal phone) for any charges incurred if we are out in the middle of ocean if I use my service? we purchased the ship's phone service before in 2014 & while we were in Belize on the ship, I rec'd a phone call & was charged an enormous amount on my ATT phone bill. So, I'm wondering, should I get the ATT service in addition to the VOOM on the ship?

  5. I need some assistance, I've book and paid for our trip (cruise) on the Liberty for Dec 24-31, 2017, for a inside room (promenade room) for myself and my son (28 years old). My husband passed away suddenly 3 months ago, and we didn't want to be around anyone we knew. I was going to surprise my son with a balcony room, he's never been on a cruise before, and this is my 2nd one & the 1st cruise my husband & I had a balcony room 3 years ago.

But...my question is, has anyone every had RCCL choose their room, it's almost $325 cheaper if they pick your room, if so, what was the outcome, negative or positives?

    Thank you,

    jean

  6. I have a question, my son (29 yrs old) & I are going to be on the Liberty - 24-31 Dec 2017 for the Christmas cruise. 2nd cruise for me, 1st for him. My question is about Grand Cayman or Jamaica, and you don't have any excursions planned, are there area's in which you can visit once you get off the tendered boat in each area (Grand Cayman & Jamaica), like shopping area's. My husband & I were originally going to be on the Liberty Oct 8-15, 2017, & we had planned some excursions, but he suddenly passed in June 2017.

I didn't want to be by myself for Christmas, so my son decided he'd tag along, he didn't want me by myself at Christmas.

So I decided, I just wanted to do some shopping while in Grand Cayman & Jamaica, since my son

didn't want to do ANY excursions. Any suggestions?

Absolutely yes. We have not booked an excursion on Grand Cayman in years. We just go ashore and walk around the town which is right at the tender pier. Cayman is very clean, modern and safe. There are lots of shops of all types, but Cayman is not the cheapest port or shopping. If you want to do some sight seeing there are plenty of taxis and private tours. In Falmouth, the dock is at an enclosed area where there are vendors but the access is restricted to cruise line approved ones. You can walk about there freely and shop, eat, etc. Again, if you want to venture out there are taxis available at all times.

Thank you so very much for the information, I look forward to being able to relax.
