Any negatives to the afts on the other decks as it looks like my two together on deck 12 have gone?
The only negative i can think of, if you're a light sleeper and turn in before 12:00 is the bass from the parties in H2O is pretty loud. I would stay below deck 12 if you can.

Could be either side. No way to tell.

what thread # is video missed it?
It's not a video in this thread, it's on Periscope.

Hockeyluver, what ship are you sailing?

5:08pm - I have failed at napping this entire trip. I've tried several times, but just can't fall asleep.
I don't know what's been preventing it, as I'm well beyond any reasonable state of exhaustion.
Dude, you need a vacation.

I'm sorry, what is MDR? all these acronyms are killing me! lol :-)
MDR = Main Dining Room

I haven't heard or seen mention of "dress up or not" night (is it still called that?). I'll try to make note of it when it comes up.
I believe it's called "Norwegian's Night Out" now. Typically the first sea day.

Levity isn't available for pre booking until you're onboard.

Does anybody know if the Miami Cruise Port allows you to check a 12 pack of soda? Would I just tape a luggage tag to the case? If they do allow it how successful have people been in getting it to show up at room?
We've sailed from Miami several times. Never had a problem taping a luggage tag to a 12 pack and having the Porter take it.

They are free. I've seen them on both the Getaway and the Sky.

I don't think so

I have cabin 13304 booked on Getaway which is an Aft Facing Balcony. Does anyone know if is considerably larger than the regular balconies?
Any chance you can change decks? The aft balconies on deck 13, while larger than regular balconies, are not "considerably" larger. Not to mention the noise from above at night. Aft balconies on 13 are some of the smaller afts on the Getaway.

Port time.

Thanks for the responses so far.
Where is there to get pizza?
Either go to the garden cafe, or for $5 you can have pizza delivered anywhere on the ship.

Are the adult fares still showing $900 even after the children's is $675? Because if I take $900 for each adult, $450 per child and then divide the total by 4 people, it averages $675 per person.
You got it. Confusing, perhaps. Deceptive, I don't think so.
-
No there is not.
-
If you have the option to move to a lower deck I would take it. 13 aft is quite noisy until late at night and the balcony is tiny compared to lower decks.

Everything I read says the Breakaway's passenger capacity is 4000 people (double occupancy). I would imagine that many rooms have more than double occupancy. Does that mean that we may actually sail with more than 4000 passengers, or does NCL limit the passenger occupancy to 4000?
Thanks!
Yes, you are likely to sail with closer to 4,200 passengers if the ship is at full capacity. To your point, the listed capacity of ~4,000 is double occupancy, not full capacity, since many cabins hold more than 2 people.

Sounds to me like you need a new TA.

Can't seem to find this answer in all the wonderful reviews. I see casual attire, but can jeans or shorts be worn in the main dining room?
Any recent cruisers I would appreciate knowing before my cruise in two weeks.
Thanks so much!!
Shorts may be worn in all but one of the MDR. Jeans are acceptable in all.

Taste or Savor will be open and O'Sheehan's. All free.
And the Uptown Grill? Also free.

Cabin is the same, extra space is the larger balcony.

Hi Everybody,
We are travelling over to miami in a few days before we cruise out around the carribean.
Please tell me the forecast im looking at is not correct, it is saying rain and thunderstorms at the back end of the week. Please tell me my phone is not working correctly. :D
Is it as bad as im being told it is?
A big thanks for any help from a worried cruiser who likes sun. :p:p
I only see a 40% chance of showers Thursday and Friday...not too bad in my book, but I'm sure not what you want on holiday.
How many power outlets in a Getaway balcony cabin?
