Hi all,
Has anyone done both the Best of Cinque Terre and the Best of Tuscany? Was there one you preferred over the other? I'm having such a hard time deciding which to do. We'll be there mid September, if it makes a difference!
TIA!

I'm curious about the beaches beaches you've been to on a cruise stop. The clearer the water, the better!
TIA,

Can anyone suggest beaches with clear water (if possible) in Ibiza and Mallorca? Also, the best transportation to get to them.
TIA!

Which pier are you docking at?
Any particular type of music he loves/hates?In the daytime it will be mainly piped music unless you go to one of the bars in town.
Puerta Maya, I believe. It's Carnival. He likes most music but loves 60s, 70s, 80s rock & reggie. He doesn't like hip hop.

Hi,
I'm looking to take my dad to a place on the beach that has music and beer. He likes a lively crowd, so rowdy is fine. I'm hoping for a less expensive option, so all-inclusive is out. I believe Mr. Santos has non all-inclusive option, but I don't know much about it. There are 7 ships in port so that may be unavailable anyway. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Beach, music, beer. That's about all he needs, lol.

I stayed here 12/22 and going back 12/23. Pretty, clean, free airport pickup and free shuttle to cruise port. If you just want to stay overnight it’s great. Not so great if you want to walk around there and be at a resort.
Thank you. I think this is where I may stay for my trip. It looks nice, and I like that it has both airport and cruise port transportation.

Riverside hotel, great hotel, great restaurants, great location.☺️
Remember to always do your homework wherever you choose to stay. TripAdvisor is a great resource and try to read at least 10 reviews of any hotel you are interested in to get a general idea of people’s opinions. There are a few hotels in Fort Lauderdale that we would never return too because of bad experiences.
Best of luck and have a great time!
Hi,
For those of you that have stayed at Riverside Hotel, was there shuttle service to the port? If not, what mode of transportation did you take? TIA!

It's an easy walk and anyone in Punda can point you in the direction of the bus station.
Yes, it's much less expensive than a taxi.
Would this be a safe walk for a solo female? Thank you

Hi. What did you do the first time you visited? I will be there in January and have no idea what I should do on Dominica. Thanks for any help!

Very likely. I don't expect Canada will be allowing cruise ships, but that doesn't change the desire for an official decision.

Scheduled on Ovation for September....Waiting for Royal to decide. Go or no go...
Hi Neighbor. Same here - Sept 4. I'm hoping we hear something soon.

All my offers expired a few weeks ago. I was waiting for the next round. They never came?
Has anyone received new offers?
I'm thinking they dumped me, lol

Thank you! I'm going to give that a try :)

I'm aware of the ingredients, but I don't know the measurements. Does anybody happen to know? Or is anybody booked on a future Carnival Cruise and willing to ask one of the bartenders?
I've decided this drink is the new love of my life, and if I'm not reunited soon I'm going to cry.

I'm excited to read your review. I sail her on Sunday. I haven't sailed Carnival in several years and am unfamiliar with staggered check-in. If my check in time is 1030-1100, is there an issue if I decide not to get there until 1:00?
Thanks

Thank you both! I'm so happy I get to go back. I googled photos and it looks like that's the place :-)

I'll be in Roatan in October. I tried to snorkel the last time I was there.
I say "tried" because my best friend flipped out and failed his arms like duck windmill every time he put his face in the water. We simply made it down a ladder that was at the end of a pier, and I was only able to go far enough to see the entrance to what appeared to be a "trail" through a reef. It was the best "almost" snorkeling experience I "almost" ever had. It's like the reef that got away.
Any one have any idea where this might have been? All I remember is the pier, a ladder at the far end of the pier that led down into the water and then pure gorgeousness. I can't remember if I took a ship excursion, private excursion or taxi...
Can any one help?
TIA,
Debbie

*** My apologies. Looks like this has been asked in answered since the last time I checked this area.***
I know you can rent a car after your cruise and get picked up at the Port of Miami and shuttled over to Dollar Rent a Car.
How about getting shuttled TO the Port of Miami from a car rental location? Any car rental company. I'm not picky.
I'd like to rent a car from Fort Lauderdale Airport and drop it off in Miami at a car rental facility that will shuttle us over to the port.
Does any car rental company do this?
My flight lands at 455 AM and I don't want to sit in the airport 4+ hours waiting for SAS Transportation (as much as I love them.)
Any input on this or even other suggestions?
Thanks!

I heard the cost of spa passes has increased. Does anyone know how much they are on the 7-day Pearl?

Gastric sleevers, is it possible to make this work? I have an HMO and my VGS was approved! It happened much quicker than anticipated. My surgery will be March 27th and my cruise is May 19th. I realize it will be a challenge but can I make this work on the cruise? We (6 of us) have already paid for airfare + the cruise. The surgery was supposed to happen after the cruise.
Any input would be appreciated. Being with an HMO, my surgery date may not be flexible enough to get it after the cruise.

Does anyone know the name of a good beach at this port and have advice on how to get to the beach?
I've searched past "Cagliari" posts and threads and can't seem to find this particular information.
Thank you.
