DH and I will be on the 14 night Hawaii cruise from Los Angeles in October 2019 - not long now! Along with first time to Hawaii also the first time in Los Angeles. We are staying in LA for the night after the cruise and trying to make the most of our time. Can anyone give me an idea of when we might be off the ship when we return to LA - assuming all goes as expected? Don't want to plan things for too early in the day.
Many thanks in advance.

I have never done anything but email them in. I was worried this year because I didn’t receive a confirmation however me bad - they had sent it and it was in my junk mail.😊. Perhaps email them.
-
Update: I just checked my junk mail and found the confirmation response. Thanks folks for your responses.

I’m sure this info is here somewhere ...... what is the email address that I send proof of shares to Carnival for my on-board credit?
Previously I had sent to guestadmin@carnival.com and would get an automatic response that it was received and I would receive notification when processed. This time I haven’t received a confirmation of receipt email and 10 days later have not heard anything else. Has the place to send it been changed?
I know the expertise on here will be able to help!

We are planning our first cruise with Disney. We will be booking 3 cabins - our daughter; her husband and 2 children, our son-in-laws mother as well as my husband an myself. In checking prices it appears that it would be cost effective to book one of the children in with the other grandmother. Can anyone tell me, if we book that way, will there be any problem when we get on board to move the child to the parents room?

Days & Transportation:
We will have 1.5 days before the cruise and 1 full day post cruise. We will be using Uber and the Hop On Hop Off bus.
Area to stay:
We were thinking of Hollywood and Vine just because there seems to be a lot around there but we don't really know what the area is like for walking around. We are open to suggestions.

Hi all - DH and I will be going on a 14 day cruise from Long Beach to Hawaii in October. We will be on the Miracle. Interested in any and all information about what to do in ports, what to expect on the many sea days, etc. Does anyone know of any good reviews?

DH and I will be going to LA in October, prior to a Carnival Cruise to Hawaii. We are looking for a hotel to stay at in LA. We would prefer to stay in a touristy area where we can go out and walk around when not on a tour. Can anyone suggest a place to stay?

Both are beautiful ships. Have been on the Dream a couple of times and did the Trans-Atlantic on the Vista. Prefer the layout of the Dream however if Matt Mitcham is the CD on the Vista I would choose that one - never had such an amazing CD and I don't usually care who the CD is.

We are doing our first cruise in Europe on the Jade next month. We are spending time in Amsterdam, Paris and Rome before getting to Venice for the ship. I am totally confused about the voltage/power thing!!!! I want to be able to use my flat iron, charge my iPhone / iPad and camera. What gadgets do I need to have to do this? Please help!

When you set up your online account you'll find it under "excursions"
Depending on your cabin class, you can only book 90 days or 100 days out.
Thanks so much - that must be my issue as I still have 205 days to go.

First cruise with NCL in September. Have booked the UDP. Can anyone tell me where I go on line to book the restaurants.

Many Thanks!

I will be sailing on the NCL Jade for the first time in September. First time with NCL. I just noticed on my email confirmation that it says "this cabin has an enclosed balcony" - I am in cabin 8530. What is an enclosed balcony?
-
I just made my request on the 16th of October and had it confirmed applied by the next date. This is the email I always use.............

Since you are Platinum and will be on board before most, definitely head to the shore excursion desk as soon as you board. We are Platinum and when we got to the desk right upon boarding 5 cabanas were already taken. Maybe if you contact Carnival and explain your needs they can assist with ensuring you reserve that cabana.
Good idea! I will contact Carnival.

Cabana #1 is designed for handicapped access.
I did not know this-thanks!

I am sooo, sorry. Every time I get ready for a cruise, I post about the single digit dance to get in the mood, and I have forgotten.
So, please join me in my less than a week dance!
Thank you for being so understanding.
Family and I will be with you!

I will be in HMC next Sunday and have a cabana booked - Great news! Bad news - broke my ankle this week and am in a cast and using a wheelchair. I need the expertise of you experts on choosing the best cabana for my needs. What would be closest to the paved paths - are there any where the paved path goes right up beside the cabanas? Your help is really needed!
