  1. Through our Concierge on FOS, we arranged for one on one service with one of the Port and Shopping guides, who helped my wife purchase the perfect ring at an amazing price in Aruba. We were so appreciative of the service, that we arranged for spa treatments for the P&SG, as well as the Concierge, (booked through the Concierge to her surprise).. As a side, you can contact them ahead of your cruise via email... I’ve always got a response and a welcome aboard email from them.

  2. Anyone experienced this C&A benefit on a ship yet? If so, which ship were you on, and what did you think of the onboard experience?

    NEW ONBOARD PARTNERSHIP

Our new partnership with Buffalo Trace distilery is delivering immersive onboard experiences by providing complimentary tastings onboard select ships. You'll even have the chance to take your memories home, with the Bourbons being sold in our shops. And when you collect all the bottles, you can get them mounted on a beautiful barrel stave. Inquire onboard for more details.

  3. Can you watch baseball playoffs and/or football on Liberty of the seas? We are sailing in October. Can't seem to find an answer.

I was on Freedom last April, and purchased VOOM with my D+ Discount and was able to stream TV and Sports on my iPad through my cable provider by way of their APP. In this case it was Charter.. Obviously I didn't spend all day watching TV while on a cruise, but when sitting in the Connoisseur's lounge smoking a fine cuban cigar (Pardagas Series D), it was an enjoyable distraction.

  4. Hi, I've been on both as well... Not to take anything away from Oasis class, but I enjoy smoking a good cigar and sipping an lslay single malt (Lagavulin) in the evenings after dinner, and Freedom class has the Connoisseur's Club dedicated to such an activity. Will be hanging out on the Freedom watching the Masters inside the Connoisseur's club next week.. Can't wait! Oasis class has the sky club (on the very top deck) bar outside in the wind, and while it is nice, it doesn't have the same vibe as the Connoissueur's club in my opinion. Of course if you don't like cigars, than this wouldn't matter to you.

  5. Wife and I are are sailing Independence of the Seas on 11/30.. We're arriving on the 28th, going to see Hall & Oates at the Hard Rock 11/28, but wanted to get your views on must things to do while in Ft Lauderdale especially Sunday the 29th. Any suggestions would be great from the locals. TripAdvisor tends to suggest "touristy" stuff..

    Thanks!

  7. Laurie,

I'm also sailing on the enchantment in July. What day are you leaving? I'm leaving from Ft. Lauderdale on July 12. I haven't been on the EOS since the refurbishment, but the last time that I was on her in 2004, my favorite part of the boat was the Solarium. It's on the back of the pool deck and it is just absolutely relaxing to me. The pizza place was also back there the last time I went on her. However, I don't know if they have moved it with the refurbishment now. The Solarium is supposed to be for adults only.

    Cruisefanatic,

I'll see you on board on the 12th! Going on my first cruise post-divorce... Bringing my 8 year old veteran cruiser along, and he'll be hanging at Adventure Ocean. Can't Wait!!
